Title: What is you're training/physique goals for 2008.
Post by: chainsaw on January 02, 2008, 06:37:38 AM
I gained 16pds of fat in 8 days when I went to Hungary with my wife for christmas.  The old guilt trip when I would turn down her mothers and sisters cream filled foods, cakes, and fried foods.  So I sucked it up and ate them.  So for me, I've already lost half of it in 3 days I've been back.  Another week and it will be history.

Haven't really figured out my strength goals, or detailed pysique goals yet.  Waiting to here from some of you.

That = complete and utter horseshit.

To gain 16 pounds of fat, you have to eat 65347,2 calories more than baseline.

Did you eat over 8000 calories more than you burned off every day during your stay?  ::)

No, you didnt.

Thus, you did not cain anything close to 16 pounds of fat in 8 days, stop dreaming.

Half Hungarian and Half Russian, but I was born in America as were my parents.  My wife is 100% Hungarian, and was born there.

You could be right I stand corrected.  Alot of that could have been water retention from the grossly high sodium foods, and high sugar.  I will say, that I must have eaten about 10,000 calories a day though,  Way Way much more than I eat at home 3-4x.  Mostly cakes, poppy rolls, and salami sandwiches and soda pop.  You see, the European meat does not taste like ours, one chicken doesnt taste like the other, and is rubbery.  I simply can not swallow it.  A steak in the small town I was in consited of fatty ground beef.  Had I been in Budapest, things would have been different.

Yes, it was wonderful.  I had her tell her mother when we got back to the U.S that she "was a magician".  She single handedly made my feet disapear.   (since I could hardly look down and see them) ;D

HAHA Dont forget he has lost 8 pounds of fat in 3 days since he has been back, so burning an excess of 28,000 calories in 3 days, the equivelent of running 2-3 marathons a day for 3 days while eating properly  ::)

DB2431, I'm doing rehab for Jesse, he had surgery on his ankle a couple of years ago and never went to PT for it, in the last few months I've been working with him, he has regained about 80 percent of the atrophy he lost, and regained most of the strength he lost on the right side of the entire kinetic chain and his strength. No, I don't have him on a diet, that's not our goal right now, our goal is to get him healthy, he has tremendous upper body strength for someone who just trains 3 times per week. As his lower body gets stronger, we will start a more intense conditioning program. And yes, Jesse can pretty much f**k you up if provoked since he doesn't take too much crap from anyone!!

My training goal = 500 pound deadlift.  Hopefully all other lifts will continue to improve.
