Gibbs is a winner! He has nothing left to prove; I'm surprised he even came back for a second tour of duty. He has more than earned the right to lie on a beach eating bon bons.
Anyone know how much he was pulling down on this contract?

Another reason is that his grandson has leukemia and he wants to spend more time with his family.

I think the highest paid NFL coach is Holgrem(sp) in Seattle at around 8 million and Gibbs was making around 5 mill with this contract. The median is around 2.5 million I think but could be wrong....
