the thing is where was he coming from? it seems unlikely that it was from Japan, as it is a lot harder to get stuff into Japan. Much more valuable in Japan too. (yes there is a market for it) Maybe a connecting flight from Thailand or China, and never went through Japanese customs.

The damage is already done, if Hides is proven guilty before a court or not is irrellevant. He is connected to criminals now. possession of steroids, smuggling and so on, this stain will remain with him forever.

you missed my point. steroids/gh are so much harder to get in Japan. they're not manufactured there, so they had to have been brought in from Thailand or China. why would they smuggle them out? They are of more value on the streets of Tokyo.
reminds me of a muscular friend of a friend coming from Germany to the US. The guy at customs asked him directly "Are you bringing anabolic steroids into the US?" The guy answered "Are you kidding? I'm hoping to find some and bring them back (to Germany)."

From what i know, roids are way cheaper in both Japan and germany than in the US. But as i said, i don't know very much about this.
I think the normal price for 250mg test medical grade is about 3-4 euros, homebrew is waaaaay cheaper. Don't know the prices in Japan, but the below linked blog says in japan roids are dirt cheap. ??? ???
