UFC Signs Croatian Goran Reljic for UFC 83
Continuing its international shopping spree, the UFC has signed Croatian light heavyweight Goran Reljic (7-0 MMA, O-O UFC) to a multi-fight deal that will likely put him on the fight card for UFC 83, which is tentatively scheduled for March 8 in London, England.
Reljic, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace, is undefeated in his career, which has included five victories via submission.
The 23-year-old, who is associated with the Gracie Berra UK team, splits time training in his native Croatia and with Roger Gracie in England. He recently won the 2007 European Gracie Championship in the 93-kg (205-lb.) weight class.

any card in england is gonna do huge numbers in the UK with bisping
The crowd turned on him after the Hamil fight. He is still popular there, but not as much as before the fight. Give those Limeys Chuck or Rampage and they will go nuts.

not just for bisping. ufc is popular there. more people was at ufc 75 than any of the shows in the us. not sure if that was a one off being the first in london and all with that great card with rampage etc but i think they should at least be able to draw as big crowds as in the us
i'd go again if they put together a strong card but ufc 83 doesnt look that good and i prefer london over manchester as theres so much more to do there

Randy Couture has resigned. Andrei Arlovski has one fight left on his current deal. Gabriel Gonzaga is a one-kick wonder. Mirko Cro Cop is lost. Brandon Vera just lost.
What’s all that mean?
It means that Fabricio Werdum — with his technical knockout of Gonzaga at UFC 80: “Rapid Fire” this weekend — perhaps locked up a title shot against the winner of the interim championship between Tim Sylvia and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 81: “Breaking Point” on February 2.

Arlovski may have looked like shit, but he beat Werdum pretty easily.

I take Lesnar as well. But at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if Mir subbed him quickly.

“I think I did good. I just got cut. I think it was getting better and better for me and sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes the bear eats you…. I just opened up a new school here in my hometown of Victorville and I want to take about 5 months off before my next fight. I want to do everything right. I got another baby on the way with my beautiful wife. I want to keep everything in line and go out there with no distractions.” - daddy

“BJ is the kind of guy that likes to talk trash behind your back, but he’s nice to your face. I don’t know if he knew I was there [ringside at UFC 80] or what the deal was, but whatever man. I don’t care. He could talk all of the smack he wants, it doesn’t really matter to me. He’s going to have to get in the cage and he’s going to have to fight me and I’m not a pushover. I’m coming with a lot of heat, I’m coming with a lot of pressure and I could fight with the best of the best. It’s not going to be an easy fight for him by any means and he’s going to have to pay for his comments so we’ll see. He’s not going to walk through me and I don’t think he’s going to beat me to be honest with you. He’s going to have to pay for his comments for sure now. It doesn’t matter if he retracts them or not.” - Sherk

“I’ve had sex before with the belt on. That was back in the Ricco Rodriguez days. The night I won the belt I had a sexual experience with the belt on. But hey, I was 25 years old and it was the biggest thing that ever had happened to me in my life. The girl was like hey, are you going to take that thing off. And I said no, I’m not…I’m wearing it and if you have a problem with it, then I’m leaving. And I hate to say it, but if I do win the belt again, then this time it’s never coming off. I’m going to wear it a lot more.” - Tim Sylvia
