Here are a few recently taken photos of Wong Hong. He is eight weeks out from the Australian Pro and looking very sharp, the best he has looked so far out from any pro show he has ever entered. Good luck Wong!
Wong is a guy who has made great physical improvements from year to year since began competing in the pro ranks and the word "quit" is not in his vocabulary. Look for him to make an impact in 2008.
Wong's responses to a few questions I asked him recently:
Hi Wong. How are you feeling nine weeks out from the Australian pro?
Wong: I am feeling great physically and mentally at nine weeks out. Just started my diet on 1-1-2008. My current bodyweight is 115kg (253lbs), which is 6kg (13lbs) heavier than my last off-season bodyweight. I am also leaner, thicker and denser than in my last off-season. I am all psyched up for the Australian and New Zealand Pro shows because I know I will come in much better than my last show if everything goes as planned.
What is your major goal for this contest?
Wong: My goal is to come in shredded with paper-thin skin, denser and even more proportionate this time around.
What has been your strategy this time around?
Wong: Ali Amini (my nutritionist) will have me going on a zero carb and high fat diet (ketogenic diet) from eight weeks out. This is the first time I will have done this type of diet and look forward to coming in 110% better than at Santa Susanna.
I have learned some new and effective exercises from Ali for my upper and middle chest, arms and back. These are his versions of specific exercises that I have not seen or read anywhere before!
I have improved thickness overall on my physique, especially in the chest, back and thighs.

Did he tear left triceps?
-
As can be seen in these photos, Wong has incredible waist-shoulder taper and some of the best legs in the business.
It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who look to criticize professionals who have worked their asses off to be among the best in the world. What is with all the hating? Wong has more muscle in his left tibialis than most people have on their whole body.

these asians are some ugly people.

I dont hate him at all. I have chated with him in Santa Susana and very friendly guy!
But i always tell the truth. Dont forget that HE IS A PRO. He can accept it.
And judges are even more honest.

Good quads.

..
-
..
What is his favorite quads exercise for mass?
-
Sadly, he disappears from the side.

When i saw him in Santa susana, his mass was not problem. But real problem is lacking in striation and granite look in his upper body.

I see your point kyomu but Wong is nine weeks out right now and this time around he says he has found the perfect formula to come in harder than ever. Time will tell. He has a good package and the name of the game in constant improvements, which he is always making. We should all support him and his quest to be at his best. He's one of bodybuilding's good guys.

Wong ain't as foolish as to make the kind of mistake Hide did! ::)
-
Very unaesthetic physique IMO. The proportions are just ugly.

Let's see you guys post your pics. Wong is a current professional who stays in pretty good shape year round and has some excellent attributes. Strong legs including calves, wide back, good biceps peak and fullness and tiny waist that would look small on a middleweight, complete with great ab development. Why focus on what you perceive to be weak points? Why not support his efforts as he aims to be at his best this year?

What's with the meltdowns? You're posting unsolicited pics of a guy most people have never heard of pr care about and taking personal offense to comments as if it's your mother. We don't need you to tell us Wong's obvious strong points or his weak points.
And people don't have to post their pics to criticize anymore than a music reviewer needs to sing opera to write an album review. Just relax and give us our Nasser Interview #5.
-
No meltdown on my part. Just curious as to why there are so many haters. I guess I got it all wrong thinking people here might be interested in something worthwhile for a change. Have followed Wong's career for a while and just wanted to provide an update on how he is doing. Is this a bodybuilding forum? My intention is to keep people close to the action, to keep them informed on what is happening in the bodybuilding world.
Go back to discussing Nasser's underpants then.
Good night

I think you're doin a pretty good job here.At least you help give Wong some publicity. As someone mentioned..why would anyone bother about an unknown bber...well what you're doin is exactly right...to make this so called unknowned bber KNOWN!
-
Exactly! He deserves some respect, as he is a professional athlete (to state the obvious once again).

Please avoid using the word 'athlete' in conjunction with 'bodybuilding'. It is known to cause great distress in many Getbiggers.
And be advised that this is Getbig, not Bodybuilding.com. Of course we care a thousand times more about Nasser's sex life and underwear sales than Wong Hong's professional development.
The only surprise is that you and Bodybuilding.com seem to agree: The long-retired Nasser gets a 6-part interview but the current Pro Wong only gets a 1-part interview.
Spare us the hypocrisy please.

Not really
As I know ,Wong Hong is a very dedicated hard-training bodybuilder.
But too many computor-haters on this bord .
Every bodybuilder needs advices and criticism both .
