Man this is one strong motherfuccker. Now compare his bar to brad dingleberry and tell me his video wasn't bullshit.
-
stop reposting dickhead
-
man that is sick....that guy is an animal
-
Jeremy is the strongest presser who has ever walked on this planet, period.

what does these benchmonsters training programs look like. it cant be once a week like bodybuilders right?

why wouldn't it be? probably one heavy day and an assitance day with shoulders and triceps.

allright. i thought some did benchtraining 2 times a week. but maybe its just counterproduktive i dont know..

i don't know for sure but i would think that with that type of weight that they would have some trouble going heavy twice a week but who knows? most of those guys train the bench heavy one day and then do shoulder presses, close grips and other assistance movements on another day.
-
Exactly, put Dingleberry under a bar with legit weight and see what happens. This guy's bar actually bends.
-

most likely. hoornstra's also a bench specialist and from what i know from talking to a few of those guys they sometimes go for one all-out bench day, a shoulder/triceps assistance day, and then a back/other day.
and yes, the man is absolutely inhuman. keep in mind he's about 100 pounds lighter than anyone else in his strength realm.
-
who the fuck is dingleberry?

who the fuck is dingleberry?
Well, he took down his BS bench press videos but here is 8 plate deadlift using only straps....and fake plates.

they're real plates. however, the two guys on the side are undoubtedly pulling with almost all they got.
i'm not sure where people think these fake plates come from. i have to be honest, even if i wanted to film a video with fake plates i don't even have a clue where i'd get any. and would i just walk into the gym with a bag of fake plates?
-
i dont know what it is nor am i claiming to be able to accomplish either of these feats but the bar on that dead is not hardly bending or bouncing...so i dont believe it..

Well, he took down his bench videos but if you saw that and then watched this LEGIT bench video, you would notice the difference. Dingleberry moves 7 plates side to side like it was 135 lbs and there was no bar bend.

He bounced.

i'm still on the fence mainly because i literally do not understand how someone gets all these fake plates into gyms. if i found a way to get the dang things i'd be more likely to believe it's BS. bumper plates maybe? a lot of gyms have those and sometimes they're not colored.

Jeremy who?
Strong bastard whoever he is. :o

Hilarious. ::)
Seriously though, I would put his press behind neck at well over 400lbs with ease.

Let me rephrase, the lifts are fake, the plates are likely black bumper plates which we had in high school.
-
This man uses real plates and it shows.
8)
-
hell yeah, FSU representing!!! I've seen that kid on campus before. He's a f*cking tank.
-
if that is legit then this beast could probably put up bout 850 with a good shirt.... f@ck!!!
-
"scuse me.................or not"
-
When I trained heavy I trained my heaviest on Mondays cause I had the weekends off. On that day I did my chest and triceps. On the other days I trained semi-heavy the other body parts and I mixed in negatives. Once in awhile I would do another heavy day on Wednesday for my shoulders and biceps.
-
who the fuck is dingleberry?
A "dingleberry" is what I made your sister eat out of my dirty asshole when she talked back
-
where is alex23 to tell us that the plates and lifts the castlecock does are the exact same as jeremy.
lol.

If he is is California maybe he has access to one of the places where they use fake plates for photoshoots? Maybe the gym he works out at has them in a backroom or something from a photoshoot that took place. I have never seen his videos so I don't have an opinion either way, but there must be some fake plates somewhere.

I didn't see it, I was just saying that fake plates have to be available somewhere.

Hahaha.
Dingleberry's cockjocks have been awfully quiet as of late.
-
That is one strong dude.
-
If he is the real deal he should be studied by Doctors, espsecially orthopedic surgeons, a total body scan checking his ligaments and tendons.
Thats the freakiest thing i have ever seen without a 2000 ply bench shirt,Fuck i did steroids for 10 years and whatever hes on is irrellevent that is pure POWER espsecially for his stature
-
He is totally legit. The guy has a tape out that is absolutely freaky.550lb bent rows, etc. he is totally legit and has done his lifts in legit meets.Unlike the bodybuilders who talk a big game Jeremy lifts a big game and does it in front of judges.
-

Does he wear a Shirt in powerlifting events, what are his totals,Absoulutly amazing he should be picked up by a sponsor or magazine to write strenght articles, Any ansew would be appreciated.

is he wearing a bench shirt underneath his t shirt? kinda looks like it the way he was walking?
-

no.
-
no.
i guess thats just how you big guys walk, huh?
-
I think he sticks with RAW lifting,I have heard that he may try shirt benching in the future. The other thing he does on tape is 405X22 reps on the bench and a seated behind the neck with 405.Hes VERY VERY strong and only 242 which is just nuts.I think his best bench in competition is 615 weighing 236 with no shirt, which is just plain freaky as hell.As far as sponsors, maybe supplement companies,Im not sure, but I doubt gear makers will sponsor him unless he wants t-shirts and singlets.

he's just imitating your mom after she gets done fuccking Tyrone, Jerome, Leroy and Terrell.

Jeremy is real. He has competed raw, I am not sure about shirted. I judged him at the Kings of the Bench meet a couple of years ago. A very nice guy with incredible upper body strength.

as far as i know he has never worn a shirt. also i don't believe he works squats/deads with any emphasis.

He gets crushed. Dingleberry isn't really impressive considering the amount of cycles he has done. Looks good, but not amazing.
-
Jeremy will be benching in the Cage at the Arnold this year, last year he put up 635 without a shirt and then 405 for 20+ reps

cool! what do you think he could get with a double-ply shirt? if he did 635 raw, then i'd put him at 775 maybe even 800

In the right shirt, and with training, I think he would be good for 900 + lbs, perhaps even 1000+.
-
By the way, you can get his DVD on Criticalbench.com. It is worth every penny!

maybe. it's hard to say, since so much depends on where he's dominant and form and all of that. nick winters could never get squat out of a shirt, for example. jeremy benches flat backed and with a relatively close grip, and his sticking point is close to lockout from the looks of things.

the scary thing is that looking at that 675 it didn't look like there was a sticking point, this guy is a freak.

yeah man. is there anyone even in his league raw outside of mendy? nick winters is close, i think he hit 660 raw a little while ago.
what's extra unbelievable is that he's a damn 242 and his only competition is three weight classes up. i know coan regularly beat superheavies in his meets, but as far as i know hoornstra would be the lightest man to ever, EVER hold an absolute record over the supers.
and christ, how depressing is it that this dude is raw benching a weight i can't even shrug? :P
-
BUMP
-
is he wearing a bench shirt underneath his t shirt? kinda looks like it the way he was walking?
Here is one of the reasons he has such a strong bench - he walks like that because its how his bones are structured, giving him a kind of 'natural bench shirt' effect. That video was taken at Gold's Gym University, Tallahasse FL, and no there aren't any fake plates around, as evidenced by the bar bending. I used to train with Jeremy some, I thought I was so big and bad hitting 405 for a set of 6, all of a sudden this short big dude shows up out of nowhere and shattered my ego big time, haha. I was only 18 though so still good strength. Jeremy is all front delts, the guy is a pressing machine. Overhead pressing 405 for reps and shit. Funny thing is all he wanted to do was bodybuild, and this old school powerlifter (and the guy who coached me for my first bodybuilding show) and bodybuilder at our gym Brian Bullock kept telling him to fuck bodybuilding and try powerlifting. After literally MONTHS of nagging, Jeremy finally did one just to get Brian off his back. I guess after he realized he broke a world record in his first meet he decided MAYBE he should stick to powerlifting.
Oh and for the record Jeremy doesn't do too well with shirts for whatever reason. Maybe wrong shirt, wrong technique, but I remember he never really got used to them and just went for raw records.

u mean 550 shruggs right ?
-
I know Jeremy and I don't remember him ever getting close to 550 bent over rows, in fact I always had him in strength when it came to back exercises. His form must've been complete shit if that's true.

405 for 6 at 18?!Bullshit!! Ie lived and trained in London, Chicago and Miami and San Diego and have NEVER seen the sort of shit so many of you on here claim to be able to do.

Even bounce, you cant do it. He is just a monster from a lab.

Come to think of it I may have just turned 19. Here's me in my first competition at 18, I turned 18 in december the competition was on April 3, 2004, i'm the one all the way to the left. Obviously I'm not lying about my age, it was the damn teen division. Yes I looked like shit but won the division - no contest.
This is me in my recent show, Nov 3. Took a while but made some solid gains.
After my first show, I felt I needed lots more size and ate lots trained heavy, and got my shirted 1 rep max over 500.
BTW Jeremy only benches competitively.
Good job. ;)

-
then im sure you won it right???
no, sorry if I gave off that impression. I got 3rd. I was just calling him out for saying he won the teen division unless that was a typo.
-
brutal honesty...thats respectable and brave...props neo....red or blue pill neo which one??<---idk ;D
-
jesus I thought this thread was a joke..
675 raw and 605 incline are just insane.. :o
-
yea it is fucking insane right....and it looks like he could go more on the flat bench...
-
Lee Priest curls 315 for reps. How much could he throw around on incline and flat bench? ???
-
no, sorry if I gave off that impression. I got 3rd. I was just calling him out for saying he won the teen division unless that was a typo.
Calling me out, dude I meant I won the Northwest Florida District championship, which was the only class in that show that mattered. Did you read the part where I said 'no contest', that meant I won the class without any opposition, as in nobody else entered. The picture is from the teen class though, where I got 2nd but I still looked like a man amongst boys, I couldn't have manipulated my water any worse. I actually came into the prejudging looking bloated.

Squadfather please do not speak with any authority on powerlifting.

why don't you post some pictures of all your powerlfting trophies and titles and photos of your physique so we can see all the results of the hard work you've obviously put in on the powerlifts?

Gonna try, I'm just getting over a torn bicep and popped bicep tendon but I'm making my way back up. Hit a pretty easy double with 635 a few weeks ago so hopefully hit 675 again at the Arnold in the Animalcage and then go after the 715 by the Olympia. Training smarter now and switching gyms soon so I should see some pretty good results hopefully.

Hello Jeremy!
-
Jeremy what's up bro, awesome to see you posting here... of course i'm not talking about your form ;D
actually your form on the bent over bb row was always better than mine, which is why i can't believe you went that heavy, you always were almost at 90 degrees if i remember correctly, but if anybody could do it no doubt you could, i would've never believed somebody could bench so heavy if i hadn't seen it in person! its funny man, not the same around town at least when i train, nobody ever getting within 200 lbs of what you used to bench with, i go to 405 sometimes still but even then i'm not getting too many
sorry to hear about your injuries man how'd they happen? working or in the gym? good to hear your getting over them we're all pulling for you to set the records bro, hoornstra = strongest bencher in the history of mankind

Did your camera man slap the fat ass brother who came around, saw he was filming and stood right in front of him while you were on the incline? What a dumbass... 8)
