what caused that?

In the vid I saw they said that it started in his infant-years.... he had an abnormally large head... from then on it grew.
The doc that takes care of him has already operated on a similiar case.
He will have a normal head, but his face will not be without some gaps, like when you had burning wounds.
Hope they do a good job on him and he'll have some joy in life - a thing he deserves.
