here's what he had to say on flexonline.com about Vic's injury
(http://www.flexonline.com/images/fl/209367/3399.jpg)
GUSTAVO BADELL
“First of all I want to wish the best recovery for him, I wish he’s going to be okay after this. But people are talking like he was going to be first in any contest he entered and I disagree with that. Victor is not unbeatable. Victor is a guy with a good physique… but he’s never bringing his condition totally dry. I’m not saying Victor’s not good, but I want to be honest. The condition we bring on the stage, we bring the best condition. He never brings that look – he’s got condition but he’s a little watery always. I don’t see Victor like Ronnie Coleman years ago, like Jay Cutler two years ago. Victor’s a great talent but we got a lot of guys who want that title - it’s Phil Heath, it’s myself, it’s Toney Freeman, it’s Melvin Anthony – we want it and we’ve been working really hard for it. I’m a competitor and I respect he’s a competitor too, but we talking about the reality – Victor’s condition is not the best condition. He is not unbeatable. He had to compete first and do a lot of comparisons with the rest of us.”
::) ::) ::) ::)
Come on now, Vic's condition totally destroyed Gustavo's at the Olympia
Gustavo hasn't been in shape for nearly 2 years now, he should STFU 8)
-
Gus has one of the biggest stomachs of the current pros, Ronnie and Jay included.
-
Absolutly
I like his physique tho, but I think he should shut the fuck up for a while
he talks like he is one of the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived

same thing with muhammed ali,but of course ali was REALLY the best back then
-
Isn't he right? I don't think victor has been 100% with his condition since his NOC win right? I very well could be wrong.

Yeah...but I think any competitive person should not hesitate pointing out flaws against other competitors.
It's just business.

When asked whether Jay Cutler could ever beat him, Ronnie replied that Jay would have to "die and be reborn with better genetics" in order to beat him. That's shit-talking, and it's cocky (and was ultimately proven untrue).
These guys all talk shit. In fact, if they didn't they might not believe they themselves had a shot to beat one another.

Razor Ramon :D
my childhood idol :D

Don't hate. That's just what he has to say to himself to get up in the morning and down a dozen egg whites, then go to the gym for the millionth time in his life.

vic is huge but i think he looks like shit on stage, never dry and there is something

He looked okay for a couple of years, but is into early-stage Palumboism now.

As long as he stays away from DCM his career won't be over. Actually he can thank DCM for the "GH-gut".

As good as Gustavo was at the 2005 Ironman (?), was he *ever* as good as Victor was at the 2007 Olympia?

maybe at the 2004 O but that is very questionable and Gustavo never had the crazy muscle roudness that Victor posess
he looked his best in 2004, he went downhill from there

like i said before Gus seems to have the same latino false machismo thing going on that you see on the typical 5'6" 155 pound mexican landscaper wearing a big belt buckle and cowboy hat.
-
and yeah... i know that in the contest his height is 5 8.... but im 5 8 for shure and im a few inches taller thatn him... so he is about 5 6 i think...

But he is right. I can't remember the last time Victor was dry and ripped. Gus is not criticising Victors physique, he is criticising his conditioning. If yu don't agree then post a recent stage pic of Victor looking dry and ripped. And this isn't about Gus' physique or gut, it is about Victor.

As far as I'm concerned, Gustavo's assessment of Victor's conditioning is correct.

Exactly! Lee Thompson's "brother in law" reads this board, you know! >:(
;D
-
He is 100% dead on about Victor...
-
...
-
Gustavo talks shit at Victor because Victor is not 100% natural
-
Of course Victor could be dryer but he was in very good shape at the O
Gus speaks like he was sharper, and he was not ! He was way more fat and watery than Vic.
My point is: Gustavo has not been in shape for 2 years now so he can't bitch at a guy's conditionning.
Dexter could bitch about Victor's condition all day long if he wanted and nobody would say shit.
Also: Who the fuck changed the title of my thread once again !!!! Is that you hedge >:(

That was Gunter, he was talking about. Gus' shit talking is coming out the ass like he is already on top, the only thing he has are great tris.
