great incentive to finish fights...35 grand is a lot of money for giving the fans what they want...which is to not see boring ass decisions....

He did, he got an extra $5,000.  You get an automatic $5,000 for finishing the fight by KO or Sub.  It's just that he didn't have the KO of the night.
