No, believe it or not, his bicep insertions really are that high...  you could put his whole fuccking head between the bottom of his biceps and his elbows, yet he seems to think he has "pro bodybuilder" genetics.  ::)

IMO, Shakira Kameli is probaly going for one last big run, going back to what "worked".

You know, partial smith squats with 8 spotters, spotted deadlifts in the smith machine et al.

Hardcore.

Man he really f--ked up. In 2001 he looked so good.

2002 Mr.O he got too heavy in the offseason and had to deplete at the last minute so ended up 237 instead of 245 the previous year.

Then still kept getting too heavy in the offseason and ruined himself. So much potential, should have taken it easy in 2002, trained for deeper cuts and slow size but i guess though he could eat and drug his way to 270 onstage or something............... ...

Milos, recently on his forum:

I know that many people want to know how King looks at this point...
I see that everyone is suggesting he will NOT BE A FACTOR in any contest...that his time is gone and physique going in wrong direction...

Well...I can tell you that KK is coming to Ironman "swinging" and ready to fight.
He is training like the mad dog and dieting 100% on the mark.
He is at his all time biggest and best at this point of his usual contest preparation - and he actually allowed me to post the photo from last week...but for some reason I cannot upload it from my PC here at work...

In short: KING IS NOT FINISHED!

In long: KING IS NOT FINISH AND HE IS COMING AT HIS ALL TIME BEST AT THE IRONMAN - NOT FOCUSING ON RESULT BUT ON DISPLAYING THE BEST POSSIBLE PHYSIQUE - WITH VISIBLE IMPROVEMENTS IN SHAPE, SIZE, SYMMETRY AND CONDITIONING...I think he'll be even better looking than ever...but that is one thing I cannot guarantee (the rest - you can take it to the bank

 :D

its simple if your 220 and your arms arent getting bigger and they are already identified as a weak point, then dont get bigger, all these guys do is up the dosage with no actual thought process, Milos your stocks sinkin quicker than citibanks, i thought even you would have tried to get this idiot to come in at a lighter weight where his weak points wouldnt be so obvious, nice work on the gut though bro, its definately got your touch to it, a lot like Gustavos,  more out in front of the masterpiece you did on D James, his is a lot wider,  I just hope Dennis Wolf doesnt follow down that path, as that is a physique i would hate to see you fuck up and is probably the only white man who could win an olympia with his physique on its merits.

These were taken on 12/13/07 and he looks virtually the same.
I checked Milos's site and Kamali's and I'm not so sure the posted pic is a
5 week out pic. Notice the same hat in the same position although
the shorts may be different. Just giving him the benefit of the dought
because he looks more than 5 weeks out in the supposed recent pic.

One thing I have seen is Milos work his clients to be in excellent shape come contest time. But, King Kamali lives in New York, and Milos is here in Southern California, which means that it may be quite physically demanding to see how Milos can get KK ready for the Ironman. Four weeks away.

2008's Ironman is one of the toughest contests in years, with an excellent lineup. Top five place for the Olympia. Phil Heath, Toney Freeman, Silvio Samuel, David Henry, Will Harris, Troy Alves, Gustavo Badell.

Because of Victor Martinez, and Hidetada Yamagishi's drop from the Arnold Classic, there may be two special invites to the Arnold, of those one who place the best at the Ironman.

The Ironman had some serious meaning now. Top 5 Olympia, perhaps an Arnold Classic special invite for those who are not in the AC yet.

Can King Kamali do it? I, for one, am quite interested to see how King does.

With no Muscletech contract, King needs a good showing, at least for himself, and if he can look better than he did last year, I think many fans will be happy.

But am I predicting him in the top 5... not this year.. not with this lineup.

If all of the above actually do the Ironman, it could one of the better contests in many years.

The lightning at Ironman makes a big difference in how the BB's look, they usually look better than at the ASC.

are you implying that "nevertrustablonde" has a big nose, flat ass and cankles, nder?

ok, fat-body.

since 'nevertrustablond' is so unnattractive in your eyes, post up a pic of your girlfriend, other than the jerk-off material you need to rely on as you are a lonely, fat loser.

if, and it's a big if, you were ever able to hit a piece as nice as 'nevertrustablonde' it would be the nicest one you would ever have, or ever get.

and you'd be bragging to anyone who'd listen about it.

you are pathetic.

lol.

Now Getbig censorship is even protecting KAMALI?  >:(

I made two posts last night early in this thread. One said "For fucks sake, when will this clown retire?", and the other was a reply to a poster who suggested Kamali may have Palumboism that said, "May have? He's well into Stage IV, maybe Stage V!  He looks like a steaming pile of shit.".

Neither one of those posts were over any lines and were on-topic.

Ron deleted them both.

If you can't even offer a negative opinion of KAMALI on Getbig anymore, we may as well nail the coffin shut on this board... it's done.  >:(

Same repeat physique....immense shoulders & traps, thick chest, thick waist, need 2" on arms to catch up, consistently lacking thigh sweep.   I assume back is huge and hams and calves are their usual.

So, all things considered, same physique = same results.....9th place.

I can't recall him ever making such a prediction before, so he must know something we don't.

I understand that androgen receptors lose their affinity as time goes on, so I understand how some bodyparts can atrophy.

My question is his conditioning.  With all of the drug technology that is available, his work ethic (when he lived in DC, he trained at Tyson's Gold's and I can tell you he trained like a madman, that's not likely an issue), and his knowledge; why can't he get back into the condition that he displayed back in 2001?  I wouldn't think it's age yet.

Opinions?

I'm not enjoying anything.  I don't dislike him, he was always nice to me.  I'm just pointing out the fact that he doesn't have the tools to place top 5 in that lineup.

Bodybuilding isn't boxing, where the weathered old fighter and score a last round knockout (George Foreman).  It isn't football, where a gutsy, last-minute drive by an aging backup (Todd Collins) can win a game.  And it isn't the movies where determination conquors all (every Stallone, Van Damme & Arnold film from the 80s).

In bodybuilding, it's about your genetics, receptor affinity and the degree to which you have impacted your body's ability to utilize "supplements".

When you consider those things, King will NOT place top 3 at the IM.

There's no joy or malice in that statement.  Only fact.

The truth in incapable of being malicious.

In pro bodybuilding, maybe the top 10 in the entire sport are able to earn a reasonable living and are a factor in contests.

According to Ron's rankings off of Getbig's main page, King Kamali is currently #42.  And that's probably generous, considering some of the names listed under him.

He needs to take his bloated steaming pile-of-shit physique and retire already.

I'm bigger, and I'm leaner, than ever.  I'll easily match 01 conditioning.  They hate cause that's all they know.  They'll never take the stage.  So yes, you take the bet.  Win some money and buy your girl something nice ;)

Just how fuccking delusional is this clown??  Even Ron Avidan won't put him in the top 5, let alone the top three, and he's as big a King booster as they come.  After glancing at the Ironman competitor list, I have him 9th AT BEST, and more likely 14th or worse if any of the names I've never heard of on the list are any good at all.

There are a lot of great smaller bb'ers like Darrem Charles, David Henry, Mark Dugdale, Ahmad Haider and others that are 1000x better than Tamali, yet don't even get half of the attention that he does. Tamali is a joke and should shut his chubby mouth.

No, believe it or not, his bicep insertions really are that high...  you could put his whole fuccking head between the bottom of his biceps and his elbows, yet he seems to think he has "pro bodybuilder" genetics.  ::)

His arms are pathetic, worst in the pros, bar no one.

Must have respect for the King.   This may be his last pro show.   He started at the Ironman, where he palced 3rd, and might finish here.

Top five.... this one is going to be difficult!

I didnt say it will be his last pro show, but it may.  Then again, it may not.  King must have a respectable placing at the Ironman. If he makes the top 5, then most likely, he will get an invite for the Arnold. If he doesnt, and not make even the top 8, King has to seriously think about his future and more.  Just my opinion.

I quoted you correctly and said "may". Remember that there are plenty of guys how never win or place that high who still make money with endorements and guest posings. It has a lot to do with popularity and that has something to do with how well you treat your fans. I'm sure King was let go from his Muscletech contract because of his placings, but the funny thing is other than Jay, King was by far the most popular and sought after guy at the MT booth at last years AC. Same thing happened at the Montreal show. People were waiting at the back door waiting to get their pic taken with him. No matter how tired or hungry King is I have never seen him turn down anyone or be impolite about getting a pic taken and he has NEVER charged for an autograph and he even hands out free pics. Anyway, I'm sure King's future will be OK.

King is not going to win the Mr Olympia anytime soon (but he damm sure has built a respectable physique)

he is not the POS that some people here try to make him out to be

really?...actually he made POS his middle name by abusing everyone that dared criticise him here at GB WAAAAYY before the members got sick of his physique.

He and Chick made right tools of themselves in fact. He was a POS then and now is a POS with a POS physique.

and man is he a dumb ass too!...makes chick look like steven hawking.... yes he has all the goods...lol..

Wouldn't want to look like most of the pros today, too big and bloated. If i was willing to stay on drugs all year i could probably get huge but i wouldn't compromise my health and I wouldn't want the big and bloated look which all pros have. Arnold had great symmetry. The guys today are marshmellows with the exception for some at contest time if they manage to get shredded which alot seem to have problem with. Sorry no pics for you to wank too.

Wow it amazes me, I can't believe some people are on this board ( but then again it doesn't suprise  me ) saying " bodybuilders are too big" wtf? That's what most of us "true" bodybuilders strived for from the moment we picked up our first weights, to be big!! I don't know of ANY competitor that had in his mind that he wanted to compete that said " I just want to be shapely, Are you kidding me!!

Maybe..but I think a lot of people here are naturals and also prefer the 'pumping iron' era physiques. Some people like bodybuilding but aren't warped and conditioned into thinking the physiques of modern pros - with their  deformed oil/water/ synthetic drug muscles and painfully swollen guts and enlarged organs and intestines - look good or in any way inspirational. Now, when you consider that KK isn't even a good example of this sub-strain of freaks then criticism is perfectly valid. He looks terrible by the modern standards and criteria by which bodybuilders are judged (usually by people without physiques like theirs) and he has a terrible attitude on the internet, which is the medium we're all using.

Truegrit,I understand what you are saying about naturals, pumping iron era, but guess what, the "Pummping Iron era" guys where BIG!!! My point is ANY " competitive " bodybuilder, his goal was to be as big he couldv'e possibly be , natural or not. How you end up is based on your structure or genetics, Whether your on hormones or not. Not 1 "competitive bodybuilder goes through all that pain that it takes to be in contest shape with the mindset, " hey I wanna stay small".
