this is why i go low carb...because i have a huge fucking appetite!!!

(i eat a meal like this every three hours)

in that bowl is

2 florets broccoli
1 head ice burg lettuce
one half english cucumber
2 green onions
half container salsa
2 jalapenos
10 egg whites

scrambled the egg whites. cut up all of the veggies and mixed them in the bowl...then i sprinkled granulated garlic all over them, then poured some cayenne louisianna hot sauce al over them. stired in the egg whites... now im eating it.

Big fan of veggies myself, but whats with the egg whites?? The mix that you got there, really doesn't seem to complement eachother, I would have went with chicken breast, but hey "to each its own." I like to mix egg whites with any type of pepper, mushroom, tomato, seems to tast really good, throw in a little tobasco sauce make a good combo.

I hate going low carb as i don't get full. It seems it is the carbs which give me the sustained feeling of fullness. That looks like a big feed, but, like most people, i dont have the time to prepare multiple meals like that in a day.

yea man that looks good but myself like to go with chicken and tuna more....for the egg whites bro do you just seperate your whites or do you buy the liquidified whites in the carton?

egg whites are cheaper if you buy them whole and seperate them yourself..

yeah, double the spiceyness 4sure! i cook the egg whites in cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper, and chili powder. then i add hot sauce to the jalapeno/veggies mix.   spicy! i love it

yea i knew that i was just curious what you guys did normally...i seperate them myself...ill also put them into just about any meal, salad chicken tuna rice whatever....

Eggs should be eated whole, egg whites digest too quickly to be of any value plus whole eggs are better at supporting healthy glucose levels and whole 'high cholesterol" thing is a myth that has no scientific basis.

yeah whole eggs are definitely more NUTRITIOUS. no argument there. the iodine and the arachidonic acid and the cholestrol all are very good bodybuilding nutrients. however...    egg yolk is 4.5 grams of fat.   while one or two egg yolks might be fine when looking to pack on size..i am still leaning out. and eating at least 10 eggs per day..if i were to eat the whole egg thats looking at around 400-500 cals of useless fats.(modern egg fat is saturated fat...)   nope, ill stick with the egg whites.   

and your statement that they digest too quickly to be of any value is absolutely rediculous. egg whites have a 3-4 hour lifespan in the body. yes, they hit the blood stream quickly like whey does..but it does not share the 90 minute lifespan that whey has.
