What's interesting is that I see results like this all over the internet. Here's Ron Paul, dominating here like he does everywhere else. I've never seen anything like this before. We're supposed to believe the guy is polling at 5% :-\

Are you referring to polls? What polls show Ron Paul as an overwhelming favorite? I haven't seen any. And he has actually been placing right about where he has been polling, so it's a little difficult to see anything sinister going on IMO.
I haven't met a single person who has indicated they are voting for him.

I haven't met anyone either. Maybe he's just a fan favorite here on this site. To think that the 20 or so responses on Getbig are representative of the millions of voters in the US is a bit too presumptuous even if he's leading on other sites.

He has sort of a cult following, but nothing that has translated into success in the voting booths, yet.

I was refering to just whatever forum I pop into generally surfing and yes, the little meaningless polls done about end up with Ron Paul dominating. as you said, he's king of the internet. To bad we're all just virtual and not real voters ;D I just find it hard to believe a guy that so many everywhere I look wants to win is only at 5% All I'm saying is I have never seen that before and I have watched this stuff for a while.

Well, I decided to put this to the test. Not like I have to because I DO see this all over anyway. I searched forum and political on yahoo. I then just just clicked one of the forums. I've never been to this forum. I searched for recent polls and found that this forum had also done a primary of their own just like this thread. Here are their results ;)

I agree, what you are bringing up is interesting, but this method of "polling" and "research" is hardly sound.

It's an observation and not an invalid one. ::) I was called out that it might just be here, I backed it and am willing to experiment more to find out. We can pick random numbers, search engines look along just one random page out of all page returns, I don't care.

Observations and real legit polling are 2 different things. For example: Polling the members of a gun club on gun control isn't sound or making the basis of your polling on people choosing to participate isn't always sound.

Here what I said:
Air force bases and public bases do not typically share the same air space, and as air travel increase to and from an airport or even from an air base (such as when an airbase changes it's primary mission from let's a fighter base to a transport hub) they need to redo the airspace.
As far as size of trails, it could be reasons such as atmospheric conditions, flying at different altitudes (as you can probably surmise, air space is 3 dimensional), or type of jet engine.
Now how is that saying you are a 7 year old or a retard?

Maybe the issue is "the net".
Your average person on the street who is not a savvy internet person (ie... Young Adult) is still going to go with one of the top candidates "their" party is pushing.
Ron Paul isn't being pushed on national television, so he's not going to Poll well anywhere except on the internet.
Whoever gets the TV medium, gets the votes... It's pretty simple.
As times change, then the medium will change, but right now, TV is where it's at.
