Title: Bodybuilder's books?
Post by: Parker on January 23, 2008, 08:48:41 PM
Since we have Flex's book, who's next? Dorian, Ronnie, Levrone, or Shawn Ray, of course his would be several volumes. It would be interesting to see what Dorian's or Ronnie's bodybuilding life was like, or if they have some crazy ass moments like Flex did.

Yeah, it is, just wondering. Because, it would quell some of the who was better than who threads, or what each was using. Or who had beef with who.

Dorian wrote a book called "Blood & Guts" and do you know who bought it?  Why, NarcissisticDeity did of course.  Leave it to the person who swallows the sperm of Dorian Yates to also buy his book.  ::)

Que es books? I did get a copy of the video though. Dude was the beast in his day.  Like his physique or not, he did bring the conditioning. The guys on stage today can't get as dry as Dorian (or any of the top 5 guys in the ninety's). Dorian at a guest posing in 98 was dryer than an on stage Cutler. Then again, Cutler has looked better at some of his guest posings.  :-\  Home slice needs to get his priorities in check.

Mate, did you know that Dorain's first book "Blood and Guts" from 1993 is a collector's item now?

I didn't realise it until I tried to sell my copy on Ebay for £5 (about $10) about a year ago. It ended up being a bidding war between three people and the price went up to £40 (about $80) before I withdrew it. I figured that I would wait another five years or so and get even more for it then.

It's a very nice training book. It cuts out all the crap and gives you all the basics you need. Plus it has a ton of good pictures. It retailed for $18 I believe.
