Title: Since a neurologist, a nephrologist and my general practitioner couldn't help me
Post by: ChinoXL on January 24, 2008, 02:45:10 PM
I have decided to call upon the few actual doctors who post on Getbig.  If you are in fact a real doctor please pm me.

Munchhausen syndrome/hypochondria

fixed

I won't bill you either.  Hope this helped.

That does explain severely elevated creatine kinase(2500)and creatinine levels(2.0) now doesn't it.  That would also explain the shooting muscle pains, cramps, twitching and overall feeling of shittiness.  Thank you kind bitch, now move on and go diagnose someone who doesn't dwarf you intellectually.

Saw this online hope this helps...

http://en.allexperts.com/q/Rheumatology-including-Arthritis-986/High-Levels-Creatine-Kinase.htm

Increased levels of "total" CPK could be caused by disease or injury affecting the heart muscle, skeletal muscle and brain....

Increased levels of CPK-BB isoenzyme could be caused by diseases affecting the central nervous system, or adenocarcinoma (especially breast and lung) or Pulmonary infarction....

Increased levels of CPK-MB isoenzyme could be caused by acute myocardial infarction, cardiac aneurysm surgery, cardiac difibrillation, muocarditis, ventricular arrhythmias, cardiac ischemia...

Increased levels of CPK-MM isoenzyme could be cause by Rhabdomyolysis, Muscular Dystroply, Myositis, recent surgery, electomyography, IM injectionss, crush injuries, delirium tremens, malignant hyperthermia, recent convulsions, electroconvulsize therapy, shock, hypokalemia, hypothyroidism.....

As for the Increased level of Aldolase, this can be caused by Muscular disease (such as muscular dystrophy, dermatomyositis, polymyositis), Hepatocellular diseases (hepatitis), muscle trauma (severe crush injuries, Muscular infections (trichinosis), gangrenous processes (gangrene of the bowel) or myocardial infacrtion.....

above is listed all the possibilities....

Exercise/activity can increase the CPK, but only if there were a severe muscle injury....

creatine kinase is from training.
Stop training intensely for a few days and then take the test.
2.0 isn't even necessarily elevated for creatinine.  If you're a fat ass and happened to be dehydrated it could be even higher and be within normal limits.

What is your GFR?  (And are you african american?)

The reason two SPECIALISTS couldn't find anything wrong is because there is NOTHING WRONG.
Pull the string, toss the tampon in the garbage (you can even wrap it in toilet paper like women always do), and get on with your life.

There's nothing wrong with you.  You're not special.

is this to do with kidney failure.

Creatine irreparably damaged one of my kidneys. Tho i am one of the few that may have had a pre existing kidney problem.

I felt so sore cramps tired and when i was finally admitted to hospital it all made sense
