I haven't seen Rambo YET, but which is better? Rocky Balboa is one of the greatest movies ever made imo.
-
I would say Rocky 1 and 2 are better than the Rambo movies. Definitely more of a Rocky fan!

Are you having a laugh? They're enjoyable films, but nowhere near the best ever made.
As for the best between Rocky and Rambo. I'd say First Blood and Rocky are the best from them all.

Movies are subjective. I think the Rocky movies are some the best films ever made. Some people think Citizen Kane is the best, and that stupid movie put me to sleep. Like I care about some sled named Rosebud. Forrest Gump is as about as good as it gets imo, but the Rockys are a close second, especially the first one.

You're right. What counts is how much you enjoy it, not what others think.
I've lost count of the times I've put off watching a film, just because somebody else told me it was shit. Then when I finally do get to watch it, it turns out to be great.

Does anyone have the weekend projected box office take yet? I think it was predicted to be neck and neck with Cloverfield at around 18 million. I have a feeling that we are looking at closer to 25-30 for Rambo 8)

I hope so. Even though a sequel is a longshot, if it makes enough money it is very possible.

well that spartan shit is for 15 yr olds, rambo has a fan base, plus the 15 year old

True, with Spartans and Cloverfield playing this weekend that leaves a large number of people who probably haven't see Rambo yet that will. Don't ask me why anyone would choose the other two movies, but there is no accounting for good taste.

RAMBO
I saw this movie today. It was awesome.
It will be looked at as a classic one day.
