Clever with steroids.
Weird in life.
I often used to read his articles on drugs, but when ever he wrote on other topics my respect for him drop a notch or two.
A genius weirdo  :-\

Duchaine was ahead of his time..........truly.

He wasn't always right, but his thinking was progressive.

If anything, his theories didn't have enough practical application to provide reasonable conclusion.

He wasn't given the credit he deserved after his untimely death......

The last of the first.

He had the drug section in the Musclemag section in the 1990s
I always had the greatest respect for the guys knowledge and honesty

Curious, in your mind, what would be the best example of this?

He had some outlandish theories, baby Arnold.

Am I going to have to dig out his books and the old updates to re-read them?

Read this Dirty Dieting Handbook and you will understand what I mean.

He speculated about alot of things, but other than himself, didn't have alot of people to experiment on to prove many of his theories.

He was his own guineau pig.

I thought he was largely a waste of ink. Now and then a good write, but rare.
Ditto on Dan Guartey and Nick Evans  ::)

Michale Money and Jose Antonio and Aurthor El Rae  very good.
Palumbo has a interesting coment on "research clomid" this month. I agree.

Are you kidding? He worked with tons of pros, especially females from my understanding. Worked with Olympic athletes too, helping them beat the tests.

I think L.Rea is an utter fool and a fraud.

The trick he uses to make people think he knows what he is talking about is making things extremely complex and using "scientific" sounding statements (which most of the time are just BS). That's the way to lure in the newbie, making things complex and confuse them. "This guy must know what he is talking about since I have no clue what he just said"  :D

And also, in your example cycles use lots of steroids no one can source anymore such as Theramex and injectable Formestane, etc.

Really on Rea?
Your right on all his esoteric Unobtanium drugs. But Formestane rocks IMO.
If it didnt make me sneeze and sneeze and still sold OTC It'd be tops PCT IMO.
I liked his theories.
But The hard to get roids I dont bother.
If test and deca and Dbol and drol don do it ....  nothing can.

what people like duchane and borresson did was bring well known practices among the right circles to the greater public..  in a time before there were sights like this.. gettn hold of info used to be all word of mouth especialy in contest prep...

Tons of pros?

I'm talking about enough guys to conduct a real study, not a few bodybuilders here and there.....

Some of his theories turned out to be right, but certainly not all of them.

DIV
What do you mean by studies? Like real clinical studies?

It's the nature of the beast, being a "guru" and experimenting with drugs. You don't know if your hunch is correct until you try it. There is not going to be no "real study" in this field. Of course he wasn't going to be right a lot of the time.

From what I've read he had just tons of people to experiment on, he especially said the females were easy to work with since they did what he suggested without questioning him. Some year he was helping most of the Ms O field from what I understand. Also a big time drug dealer, making counterfeit drugs in Mexico and so on. Around one of his arrests he said "everyone" at Gold's Gym could point out his house.

From his writings he came off as an extremely sharp and intelligent individual. Don't know about his morals and so on.

That was my point.

He had alot of theories, but many of them were simply speculation..........and turned out to be wrong.

He was intelligent, just enough to get himself in to trouble.

I think, at times, his intelligence was clouded by impulsivenss, rash decision-making......

He was his own guinea pig, after all, and that's not the smartest way to go about doing experiments.

It probably contributed to his premature death.

100% agree. most of things coming from L.Rea is horsesh*t!!
According to this oil-abuser, remeron is lower cortisol and prolactin. So great for pct or whatever lol

but truth is remeron is one of the worst SSRI. groggy all the time and gyno appear day and night.
This is after take 1/2 pill(15mg)

Yes, he has Synthol everywhere. Little real muscle. And why this stupid pseudonym? They call him "Author". I think Palumbo called him "Arthur" LMAO

Remeron does lower cortisol but it's a supremely stupid idea to mess with your brain chemistry because you are in "PCT".

His supplement line is just like his steroid info. He puts steroids in his supplements and then disguises it with improper nomenclature on the label.

Bildernuggs,

I don't understand why a guy like him would even consider sythnol if that's the case.

What does he have to gain at his age?

It only detracts from a physique.

He has body dysmorphia like so many bodybuilders do. He can't see how ridiculous he looks. Probably has a lot of hanger-ons who keep telling him how great he looks. Everything about this guy screams fraud.

I wonder what kind of substances he is on in these clips. Dude can't stand still for a second.

In that clip he talks about this "natural" show he did and he says that anything OTC is ok. Doesn't that seem weird? I'm saying that because many OTC products contain designer aas and things that would test positive in any Olympic/WADA test. Obviously I'm not against gear, but i like to call things with their real names...

And Dave asks him what did he use for fat burning, based on that clip meth and also that "training" looks very lazy.

In term of Duchaine, I liked his articles too, but there was something about him that was really shady...also do you think he preferred to work with women because he could easily trade sex for drugs with them and get his jollies off?...that's just my suspicion...don't get me wrong, I may have done the same thing!  ::)

Well, I remember him saying he did fuck a lot of the females.

Anyone know the details of the story where he sent his girlfriend to Mexico for calf implants, which lead to her having to amputate both legs?

Yeah he keeps claiming there is no SEO in his arms, just site injects with regular gear.

He actually would have a pretty good physique without the oil.

Where is the guy getting his income from if he's relying on his books?

....he commented in his books about women he's trained, worked with and there was always an angle with him.  He never came right out and said he traded sex for drugs, but I believe it to be so.  Dan said himself that he used anabolics to feel better and for a better physique, which in turn helped out with women.  He strikes me as the type of guy to be up for a drugs for sex trade-off.
