Post by: Armageddon on January 27, 2008, 07:35:21 PM: Takiro Kobayashi (Japan) Won the Annual hotdog eating contest in NY for the 6th consecutive time

He ate 53 of ¾ pound hotdogs in 12 minutes breaking his own record of the same amount of ½ pound in the same time.

The runner-up was Joey Scheston (USA) who ate 52

53X0.75= 39.75lbs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Old news. Also, its not 40lbs of hotdogs. Scheston won last year and seta WR in the process...IIRC it was 56.
