“Possibly Mauricia “Shogun” Hua. That’s what they’re saying. If it’s the June fight, it will probably be in London. But my trainer is trying to get it moved to Vegas. Too far. (Liddell is based in San Luis Obispo, Calif.) - chuck interviewed in sports illustrated

Chuck Liddell is headed to the Super Bowl this weekend and feted like the A-list celebrity he is. He's been to the Big Game before. At Super Bowl XXXII in 1998, Liddell was positioned at midfield. That afternoon in San Diego, he was working as an on-field security guard.
"They told us our backs had to be to the field for the whole game," he recalls. "I was like, 'Right. Like the guy on the 50, who paid huge bucks, is going to cause trouble and run on the field. Especially after seeing me standing there.' I watched the whole game."
;D

They're making a big deal of [cage versus ring], but that's an excuse because all the PRIDE guys are losing. I had someone say to me the reason Wanderlei Silva lost to me was because he couldn't do soccer kicks. Really? When exactly was he going to soccer-kick me in that fight?
haha damn straight, thats what i said!

"Liddell: I was hurt more in five years of college wrestling than in 15 years of fighting."
-
SI.com: Any rule changes you want to see?
Liddell: Not really. I wouldn't mind [allowing] knees to the head when the fighter's on the ground.
-
Liddell: You know, I've had guys take swings at me. You know what I do? I [kid] you not: I grab their arm, I put my arm around them, pull them up to the bar. I say, 'I'm going to buy you a shot. We're going to relax. I'm going to give you my number. You can call me tomorrow if you really still want to fight. We cool? I'm going to let go of your arm now. Take another swing and I'm gonna drop you. Cool?' By the next day hopefully he's like, 'I don't think I should [mess] with him.'
Reminds me of what Quinton said. He mentioned that once you are properly trained and structured, fighting in bars at the slightest provocation is ludicrous. unless you get paid for it.

All the "Pride Guys" are not losing. ::)
Silva- "Pride Guy" is now The UFC MW champ.
Rampage- "Pride Guy" is now The UFC LHW champ.
Big Nog- "Pride Guy" will be The UFC HW champ this Saturday.
Just because Cro-Cop is not doing well doesn't mean "all the pride guys" are losing.
It looks to me like the "pride guys" are taking the UFC titles.

Not all. but most. And I don't consider Silva a Pride Guy. he only fought all over the place. And Randy is still the title holder of the heavyweight.
So that leaves us with Rampage.

Former Pride Grand Prix champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua has signed a contract to face former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell. Sources close to MMAWeekly confirmed that the fight will take place in either May or June, but more than likely at the next event in London, which Ultimate Fighting Championship officials have already said would be June 14 at the O2 Arena.
