I get bad insomnia. I think the site feeds on it; you're just about to shut down and go to sleep then you read something you have to respond to.

Try drinking half a bottle of wine. Always sends me off.

I also find that if I'm still awake when the birds are starting up their dawn chorus that I'm nearly always overtraining.

Drinking can cause isomnia in the long run..

Drinking kept me awake wanting me to drink more. I kinda quit and everything went away.

Now, I feel sleepy by 11pm and feel fine.

I also make sure to clear the mind before sleep.. No bad thoughts or anger.

It's a pretty weak benzo imo.

take ativan and you'll fall asleep faster.

Benzos are no solution.. I sometimes use valium to clear my head and that's about it, though not everyday.

Actually on rare occasions .5 of a Xanax works great.

Just try and fall asleep without drugs and you'll be fine. You may sleep 5 hours per night a week, but eventually you'll be fine.

Only bad if used too much. I might use it 10 times in a year. Works great and feel fine when I wake up. I also realize that most people would get addicted pretty easy or at least get dependent on them to some degree. Less sides than the more prescribed crap that is out there now making the pharms millions. Of course like you said, natural is best, but not always an option.

Of course I take some here and there in situations where I am tired and need to sleep. But not as any solution or anything.

The pharma industry is a joke.. They make more people sick than they cure... Of course their aim is to not really cure anyone.

I think of all the things and medicines I have gone through (including melatonin and everything else) weed was the only thing that always worked. I slept like a baby after a nice joint.

I need to see a doctor if and when I get back to the West.

That's the problem right there. When I used to smoke I slept like a baby but once I stopped the insomnia started. Same is still true: it gets worse each time I've stopped a heavy bout of smoking.
