What is your view on the Tank vs Kimbo fight?

Think they will go toe to toe until someone drops?

Kimbo will take tank down and submit him.

Kimbo will take tank down and submit him.

I believe that is 100% accurate.  Abbot will be gassed in the first 30 seconds.

You think Tank has that "one big punch" left in him? When I looked up his record, I think he's lost several fights in a row now.....I think he's done.

I think to deny that fact is nieve.  His punching power will always be there.  However, if he doesnt get it in in the first 30 seconds, the fight is over for him.  He has the worst cardio ever.

That's what I'm thinking, Tank seems like he's more interested in partying than training.

Hes been doing it forever, he knows in his heart he is old guard and just doesnt have what it takes at this point to be a top teir fighter.  He was AWESOME  to watch back in the day though.

He does it for extra party money. You know the UFC was not paying that much back in the day and Tank sure does love to party.

I dont care how he spends it.  I just like watching him throw hands.

I just give the guy props cause he don't avoid throwing hands. He doesn't ever change his game plan and as old as he is most would have quit, yet he keeps stepping in for fights.

Now if they were to fight "back yard style" like how Kimbo started I would give it to tank, but in the cage....... Kimbo takes it easily.

Back on point fellas..

As a huge WWE and UFC fan I was almost pissing myself out of excitement leading up to the Lesnar/Mir fight.  What made it even more worth it for me was seeing WWE stars sitting ringside for the first time including the Undertaker, Kurt Angle, and my favorite, the Texas Rattlesnake himself.. Stone Cold Steve Austin!

I had a measly $10 on Lesnar since my buddies are poor.  I assumed Lesnar would do nothing short of smashing Mir's head and then go right on to tear the sonofabitch right off!!!  I could barely stay still as the fight started and Lesnar appeared to do just that.  Unfortunately, my fun was short lived as the awful truth of what a good BJJ artist can do to a ground and pounder.  I have a small amount of grappling experience so I should've seen it coming.

Nevertheless.. I am sure Lesnar will be back since his performance was still probably the most exciting half round of the night.  And considering how many people tuned in for the first time as WWE and collegiate wrestling talent mashed with the staple of MMA I wouldn't be surprised if more WWE stars are courted to, at the very least, "see what they can do."

And for all you assholes that think wrestling is gay.. I think you should at least concede that, even though everyone already knows it is scripted, there are undeniable factors that make it an extremely popular and awe inspiring form of entertainment.  Huge guys flying off ropes and battering one another, dramatic and often hilarious story lines and rivalries, hot divas wearing almost nothing, and massive, juicing, megastars that are either comically overweight and/or dressed or guys built like human tanks.

Stone Cold's mouth was reason enough to watch IMO.

Either way, it's entertainment!  And Brock Lesnar has more than considerable potential in MMA.  I can't wait to see what other talent might be found from WWE.

Brock should of been more patient and tried standing then going to the ground with a jits expert...He's does have a lot of potential and with time and experience will do fine.........I'm just glad Frank shut his cocky mouth up.

I was impressed with how easily Mir got the ankle.  He switched 3 times trying to grab one. Lesnar has alot to learn about the ground game and defending against it.

Yeah very true, seemed like Brock was just not really taking the possibility of a submition as a really high priority, I doubt he will let that happen again as easily tho :).
