- stretch your rectus femoris
- do terminal knee extensions (TKE)
- do Peterson step-ups

I read on the wiki for tendonitis that eccentric lifting benefits it so I always do 3 sec negative portions on my squats and I have to say that has definitely help with knee discomfort.
