Title: Should Romney drop out?
Post by: Tre on February 06, 2008, 04:59:24 PM

If he loses all the way to the convention, wouldn't he be seen as damaged goods for any potential future campaigns?

I think they all said they would stay in it to the end.

I think he'll be "convinced" to drop out before the convention

If nothing else, the Repubs are good at coalescing and working together as group

Hillary will bring them together.

If Romney's smart, he goes out now, while he's still winning a few states.  This will make him a far more viable candidate in the years to come.

I hope he never wins another election, of course, but that's just my own bias speaking.

Romney just announced he's suspending his campaign.

Maybe his family convinced him to stop wasting their inheritance

The more he spent, the less the LDS church would get.
