The lightning on this pictures are pretty shitty. Using the flash on the camera eliminate all the lines and shades and makes u look much smaller and softer...

He doesnt look tight because of lighting and he will look tight on stage lighting and coloring.
But I dont think we will break top 3 neither

I bet he ends up looking fine, he's in good shape, it's the lighting, the fact he has no tan and some water that's throwing off these pics. He'll look good IMO.

Granted that you can't fully appreciate the pics because of the lighting but I think that everyone agrees that there is nothing impressive there...
those pics from Phil a few weeks ago literally made you do a double take..
you can slot gus in from anywhere from 3-7 depending how much more he dries out

exactly , some of these dopes dont realize theres more to life then a digital point and shoot camera they bought at wallmart ::)

You have to admit that even considering they are poor photos, there is a bit less quad detail than you would expect.

Peak is not so important enough to inject oil. I have never thought that Gustavos weak point is arms.
To the contrary,i always think that he has good pair of arms.

If he dries out, he can score top 3. Even if he's a little watery, his name will guarantee him a top 5 placing and an Olympia invite, because With Heath, Silvio, Wolf, Dexter and a couple of others, he will NOT be making top 5 at the Arnold.

Don't foget he's a past Ironman winner and placed 3rd in the O twice.

Other then the shitty lighting I say he still looks great but not a contender for winning. I see him anywhere in the top half of both the Ironman and ASC but whether he is 2nd or somewhere near 10th all depends on how dry he can get come showtime.

with him he should be the winner due to his recent placings last few yrs,he made huge gains to become top pro .its like wheeler and cormier they swept the ironman every year they entered,cutler won few times .

especially for back? his erectors look developed all the way up his back very well. id like to know his routine...

it's funny that you think he's doing something tremendously different than all the other pros or that he has some secret exotic back exercises that no one's heard of, his back looks great but to me it looks no better or worse than all the other top guys like Victor, Dexter, Wolf, Heath or the rest of them. ::)

no no man....didn't you hear about his secret one arm tbar rows, and bb rows with one overhand one underhand grip for 7.5 sets of 3.25 reps....they really bring up the back

i never said there was a "secret" dumbass...
some pros have lagging parts in their backs though. some have poor erectors, or poor traps, or poor lats, etc. He has a very complete looking back, and I wanted to know the exercises he did to achieve it.
It could be just deadlifts, barbell rows, and chinups for all i know. the point is if it only took 3 main exercises to develop a complete back, then i would want to know which ones he chose because his back looks good.
or i could take the opinion "ignorance is bliss" like most people and never try to look at what others have done to achieve success...since apparently everyone on getbig is an expert...
