Granted Vegas has some of the ugliest faces in the world, the weather is great. I urge anyone from the East to consider a life upgrade and move. It's something you don't think much about, until you're in another place, then you realize how shitty you actually had it..haha

Let me play devils advocate here, and I know I probably wont get a serious answer because its easier that way but I want to ask you guys a question and see who we have here as businessmen.
A company (lets call them Muscletech) pays you 65-75k a year for 3 years to be a representative of their company. They also give you free product and pay travel expenses (flights, hotel stay, stipend) to all contests, expo's etc. You are being interviewed by Bob Chick for bodybuilding.com and he asks you about the supplements you take (and the company that is going to pay you about a quarter of million total)..........what do you say?
a) Dont use supplements
b) I use (some other company's) supplements instead
c) I love and use Muscletech!

well since im a college graduate and am a getbigger so i make millions, i say none of the above and actually tell him what the fuck i really take...but since most bodybuilders are morons and live off of there "career" of choice, then i would say c and with a big smile :)

david henry does not make 65-75 k a year from muscletech. more like 37-43 k per year. but yeah....a few grand a month in free supps(not unlimited, only about 2500 per month), and muscletech will pay for the shows that they choose for him to go to. nothing else.
but yeah, you would be an idiot to not represent your company. in fact...im pretty sure muscltech called him up and told him he had to bring those supps on the show.. they have done that with every athlete that has appeared on bb.com

That's the beauty of Getbig, Dante. Despite the fact the answer is 'c' the mega-multi millionaires on here are so loaded and so wealthy that they can laugh and jeer at someone who will follow the buisness practices despite how silly a Dave Henry or someone sponsored sounds to those who know more than the average 'newbie'.

Pffft...I looked into taking the LAPD exam a year or two ago. It's a handsome salary starting candidates at 45-50K, which is respectable and worth a living but 200K a year? Yea, right. If that was the case every single 'Habib, Sumit and Ghata' would be comming to the United States from India to study criminal justice/police tactics instead of medicine.

there are some cops in my area that commute into the bay area for work and make close to 200 k a year, but they have been on the force for a couple decades, ahve high ranking, and work like 6 days a week.

Depends on the type of cop you are ;) little shake down $$$ here and there, getting paid to look the other way are all ways cops can easily make 200k a year.

Captains and higher ranking officers in Chicago make about 75-90K a year. The SUPERINTENDANT makes about 125K. That's also with over 15 years on the force.
Please...no fkn beat cop or TOP cop makes 200k/year with overtime, doubletime and working 9 days a week.

This is true for Nor Cal. I could work in Santa Clara as a P-1 and start at $80 k, plus you have overtime. So if he knows a captain, I believe it.
As for LAPD, a P-1 with a degree makes 56 k. A captain is looking at 100 k and up.
You can double your salary in overtime as a patrol officer, you would just have no life.

Even a patrolman in NYC can make 90k after 5+ years of service or so.
State Troopers in other states make over 100 k after 5-7 years or service. No idea about 200 k though.
Suffolk county cops in Long Island have a very generous starting salary and a very high salary after a few years.
Cops make good money after 5 years of service or so from the looks of it.
