I like my job very much, there are always part I don't like that much, but it beats the shit out if standing in a kitchen drying dishes.
I like my job.
-
I'm pretty much indifferent about my job. It pays the bills & at least I have one - shit in Michigan a good paying job is hard to come by right now.
-
what is a job?
-
It's not just a job. It's an adventure.

It's called multi tasking, the times you don't see me post here are either.
1) Meeting
2) One2One
3) Performance Meeting
4) HR related Employee meeting
5) Break (I take about 1 for lunch and eat my sec meal infront of my PC)
Apart from that I can quit happily post from here answer emails and alleged work ;D

Same here - I earn slightly more than the average national income and I don't have to do a fat lot to do it either - it isn't always the most interesting or fun but I guess it wouldn't be called a job if it were fun.

Very true....I get to change jobs every 2-3 years and move as well..so its good and bad. The one thing I've learned, being in the Service..there are no bad jobs..just bad bosses.

Love my job. The physical work, the organization involved, the hours (getting up at 2:30am kind of sucks, but you don't have to deal with the idiots on the road as much), and you're quite independent too.
On a scale of 1-10, I'd say it's a 9....I wish for a little bit better pay, but considering I'm making more than any of the other companies guys (by sometimes as much as $5) for doing the same work, and it's easier....I'm happy.

I like my job.
Why should the only alternative to a job be standing in a kitchen drying dishes?
What about doing nothing?
Beats working in my book.

I do love my job , but would trade it in a minute for a bartending job on a cruise ship ;D

I just changed my job 6 months ago and I am enjoying it ;)
My previous job I loved for many years working on the technical side in a container terminal, but I grew to hate it because of the politics, trade unions and arrogant, incompetent fucks who where appointed as my new managerial team >:(

I like the job that I do, but I'd rather be a somewhat eccentric multi-billionaire and travel around the world and do crazy stuff. Otherwise I would at least want a year of to travel around the world.

Just this week started a new job after 24 years in broadcasting, and six months unemployment.
Installing microwave links, it's like assembling Ikea furniture. A bit of a culture clash after 24 years in a semi-artistic job.
-
i make $12.90 per hour, no sick days, but i get 2 weeks vacation, a nice hopitalization plan, and if i work there til i retire, i get a nice retirement plan too. but, i hate the kind of work. i hate customer service jobs! people generally suck! ;D

media consolidation victim?

media consolidation victim?
Hmmm....., both yes and no. I was laid off from a huge broadcasting company that people hate, that is true.
Over the air terrestrial broadcasting is losing it's audience. The reason that it is losing it's audience is a combination of stupid programming decisions, but also changing patterns of program delivery. The delivery of programming with alternate routes; cable, internet, recorded media. What will take broadcaster's breath away will be when you can stream programming into cars.

I hate my job, but I make decent money for not having a college degree. Maybe one of these days I'll go back to college and finish. Problem is, I really can't think of something that I'd truely love to do day in and day out! I went the trade school route and IMO it's a waste of time around here. People don't wanna pay squat, and your always threatened with lay offs.
-

ditto.
Plus I can give myself a raise, vacation, multiple raises, multiple vacations anytime I want. :)

That can be arranged.
Not too sure about the billionaire part, ...but the multi-millionaire part is certainly achievable.
-
I enjoy my job even though I don't make a lot of money.
My cousin Jody is living a dream...he's an artist...he "draws" unemployment. ;)

Only as long as the money comes in, right?

What's your trade and can you start your own business? You'll never make squat in the trades unless you're higher up the food chain or are a seriously ass kicking piece worker.
