I know of at least 3 guys I work with who are taking off of work to play it all day. I might only because I can't play the game around my kids.

how could i not get bored?

getting a hooker to work for you - you drive here around for 10 hours (real time!) when you make twice the money by robbing someone on the street in 5.

you're supposed to locate stars all over the GIANT cities? who the hell got time for that

same with the graffiti you gonna go over. who cares?

buying a house - didnt do shit.

stupid "homies" not doing what you want them to do.

whole game concept is played out. hell i got bored with vice city for the same reasons. and if gta iv is gonna be more of the same then fuck it

I don't get your point. Video games themselves are pointless. Why play Halo? Are you literally saving mankind? Why watch movies it's not like you learn anything.
Shit, why not just never run anymore. I mean you can get to the same place walking right?

You can learn an awful lot from movies.

If the game is just the same as the first three with improved graphics, I agree that it will not be great.

The SA story was fun, but it got tedious due to the enormity of the game.   IV goes back to Liberty City, so I'm expecting a map greater in size than III and VC, but not quite in the realm of SA.

the point is that it wasnt enough things happening and it wasnt exciting enough.

i dont think spending 2 hours to get $20 in a game running a hooker is fun.

i dont think having to drive all over a giant city for 3 days to find 'stars' fun.

it got fun for another 30 minutes after i got the cheatcodes in and got the full guns and shit but even that got boring.

i demand more of video games!

where are the virtual worlds?

where are the 3d glasses?

where are the bionic hand you turn your own into?

I agree with Bluto on this one----------the basic gameplay structure of the GTA's, Vice City's and True Crime are boring to me. I enjoy them for the first couple hrs after getting the game but then it just gets repetitive to me

I love the Halo 3's, Call of duty's and even enjoyed Oblivion but the GTA's just dont hold my attention for some reason.

I agree its gay if you actually can play guitar---but for somebody like me who will never go out and buy a guitar and learn how to play it--the game is a blast.

I'll never go out, buy a guitar, and learn how to play it; and the game is still lame.

It's alright to play. The problem comes in when somebody who is GREAT at Guitar Hero thinks they are equal to a guitarist. It's as if because you ruled on Tony Hawk you could claim to be as equal with a real skater.

haha no delusion about that--although Ive heard that if you are really good at playing the drums on expert in rock band that you actually are learning the basics and can play the drums in reality (although Ive never played it)

i just like the fact that its a game (guitar hero) you can throw in and play for 10-15mins without having to get caught up for an hour playing it.

i suck at it

and when you suck at it it turns into some type of karaoke and just becomes embarrasing  :-\

Yeah, I watched a kid play run to the hills on expert through Rockband. He got all upset when I commented he should play real drums instead since it was obvious he had the rudiments down. I don't know how somebody would fare on a full kit but as far as marching band type shit they could do well.

LOL...please tell me there aren't Guitar Hero players who actually think that.  :D

I don't think there's anybody who will outright say it but some of the arguments on youtube pretty much get into expert vs. guitar players.
