“Cro Cop needs some juices and there he can use them without getting in trouble.” - Kongo
“I have a message for Kongo. Listen, I though that you are a sportsman, a professional like everyone else in this sport. You were lucky enough to fight against me during the deepest crisis of my career. You probably ate a lot of vegetables and potatoes to look like that? I’ll be back in the cage and I hope you will be in the opposite corner. Then we’ll see for how long you’ll be able to talk.” - Crocop
-
Hahahah!!!! yeah and Cheick is completely natural..pffft ::) ::)
-
right i'm sure kongo is natural ::)
steroids or not, kind of hard to fight when your oppponent keeps kneeing you in the groin

Haha...That's why Cro Cop is the man. ;D

Come on guys...Skip La Cour is natty, so Kongo must be too... ::)
-
What crisis was Crocop talking about?
-
maybe coming off years of juicing put him into a great depression ???

I can't believe he is making excuses for getting beat.

He was clearly not himself in The UFC. With Kongo, he was won the first round. The broken rib and the illegal nut shots had everything to do with that loss. Just take a look at what being hit in the balls will do to you. After you watch this video, just imagine a 240 pound guy kneeing you in the balls 4 or 5 times.
These videos explain why being hit in the balls hurts so bad.
This video is called "cheap shots." It's from sports science.
This video is "low blows." It's also from sports science.
Here is Cro Cop being kneed in the balls. Kongo knees Cro Cop in balls so hard it lifts him of the ground a couple of inch's.

What does that have to do with the crisis he said he was going through ???
-
more excuses.
shouldnt he look to avenge his loss then and beat kongo in a re-match rather then leave and hide in japan?
even if he was forced to take a paycut he was still giving a chance to get to fight in the ufc (which is more than a lot of fighters after 2 losses) so he could've turned that shit around (unless you mean he still hurts from those knees to the balls!)

He may still hurt. Those were some serious nut shots!
I will always be a Cro Cop fan and watch all of his fights until he retires. He won the OWGP, and that's the only title he has ever won. The guy has the largest following in MMA, and there is a reason for that. His fights are exciting, period. Also, he's a gentleman, and that's very rare these days.
How can you not like this guy? His idol is Jean Claude Van Dam.
He has Van Dam's name painted on his wall in his gym.
He also comes out to Duran Duran.
He is also a ladies man.

But anyway, Cro Cop has came right out and stated he did not like fighting in a cage. He also said he made a mistake by not training for the cage and the Ufc's rules. If anything this has made him a better fighter, and hopefully his next fights will be even more exciting.

good points :D
-
anyway you look at this, he's running as far away from the guys that beat him that he can.
doesn't make him a coward (how the fuck could a fighter like mirko ever be considered a coward) but he doesn't have it in him anymore and it's that simple.
anyone that thinks otherwise is either deluding themselves or has no idea about the sport.

Did you say the same thing about every other fighter who had lost two fights? Just because a fighter loses doesn't mean they don't have it in them anymore. I think Cro Cop will be back. I think this experience has taught him a very valuable lesson. Do not underestimate your opponent.

no
it's fine to lose a couple of fights, hell, lose 10, but you don't go running to a different org and fight lesser fighters if you want to be the best. you stay in the mix and train harder, sparring and fighting the best.
-
So you think Fedor is a lesser fighter? ::)
I don't have a list of all the fighters they have signed so far, but they have alot of old Pride heavyweights. It will be better than the current UFC heavyweight division.
You also don't know what the Ufc offered Cro Cop. They could have offered him 40,000 a fight. Why would he stay when he could make more money somewhere else, and also be treated better.

This fight could happen this year. Theres talk all over the MMA forums about it. Cro Cop would lose, but it could happen. It would be in a ring not a cage. ;)

u never know, mirko is just one kick away from winning any fight he enters

Last time he tried the high kick on Fedor, he got launched into the ropes when Fedor ducked it and pushed Mirko back, flipping him.

..and his high kick will not be as potent next time.
i predict mirko will stay away from fedor.
