It's been wondered why, after the age of 40, someone would still gho to press their physicality beyond comfortable limits.
Proving stages of over hormoned youth longgone...would it be a form of body dysmorphia to try getting bigger and bigger and stronger and stroger at this point in life.
I don't know the answer to this, but some psychologists have offered this as a possible explanation

Sergei Ogorodnikov didn't speak much English. He was there with his family. Seemed like a nice guy. I spoke with him through his son, who spoke English. He plans on doing the New York show next. He might do the Ironman next year again. He didn't look as old close up. It's his white hair that really seems to age him. If his general stage presentation and posing would have been better, he might have broken into the top ten.
