Moe Elmoussawi place 3rd at 2008 Ironman Pro .
He only placed 14th at 2006 & 2007 Ironman and I think he was underrated before.
At 2008 ,he made most improved and deserved the 3rd & most improved award .

Something wrong with his biceps.
But he deserved that third place he got, great improvements.

First call-out :Gustavo Badell, Mo Elmoussawi, Phil Heath, Silvio Samuel
-
damn based on that comparison pic i gotta say it's between Gus and Heath, very close, Gus' chest is wayyy better than Heath's.
-
Great closely run contest for the top three - I think it could have gone any way. I've never liked Heath's chest but his overall conditioning won it for him I think. Great shape on Mo Elmoussawi - the rear delt and arm shot is very similar to that of Flex Wheeler.
-
Moe was definitely the surprise of the show for sure. He showed up in awesome condition and shocked most by placing ahead of Silveo.
-
Phil had gained incredible mass and was in great condition. Moe looked awesome, and should've taken 2nd. Gustavo came in soft; and should've placed 4th. Sylvio should'vde placed 3rd.
Sylvio's and Gustavos egos crushed!
-
Geez, Silvio has a really round head
-
dude looks awesome :o
-
wow he looks great

gotta disagree, Gus still had Moe beat on mass and their condition looked pretty similar.

agreed gus looked great IMO

Yeah but what these pics don't show is how out of control Gus' waist is in transitions. Also, Heath was sooooo much better conditioned head to toe that it wasn't even close IMO.

we are not talking about phil
phil is the winner for sure

yeah but you could say that about any pro over 235 pounds these days, you could catch any of them in between poses breathing out and their waists look almost pregnat, hell Ronnie was the king of that.

Yup. Gustavo was not dry and looked very watery. I would have had Mo ahead of Gustavo

No disagreement here. Gus has a ton of muscle but he can't contend with guys w/ comparable muscle who have tight waists (there's only a few w/ comparable muscle, Dex, Heath, Anthony etc...)
Still, Gus looked good.

yeah i'll admit i'm a fan of Gus, dude has A LOT of muscle and i don't think his waist is all that terrible next to some of the bigger guys like Jay, Victor or even Heath for that matter, if you look closely at Phil's shots from the side his stomach is big too.
-
Moe looked fantastic. Never heard of him prior to the 08 Ironman.
Is he doing the Arnold Classic? And doesn't his placing give him entry to the O?
-
Yes, moe looks great his face looks different from the last few contests. Aging prematurely? Well, to answer the above question he is going to the Arnold and the Olympia.
-
Congrats to Moe, looked awesome. Well deserved placing.
-
Good to see him get some recognition and props. Last time I saw him was when he was walking down the main street here in Auckland wearing a short sleeved T and making all the people see what a real bodybuilder looks like. Crazy arms and great shape. And he's funny as Hell too ;D

Can't really see any difference accept his glutes are more ripped!
-
Samuel and Freeman are better bodybuilder than Elmoussawi
-
Moe should win NZ Pro show being one of the promoters he stands to make more money from promotion than the win.Nice days work.
-
Improved, but still too blocky for me. It'll be hard for him to win an overall at his height, too.
-
ripped !!
-
Well done to Moe at the Ironman a great way to put NZ on the IFBB map.
-
Moe will be competing at the Aus Pro show March 8
-
i don't see a difference.
-
moe was underrated for years, its good to see the underdogs coming up and making a force, i just hope bb like ronnie rockel make an impact in a major show
