Former IFBB Pro and American Gladiator Shelley Beattie passed away on February 13, 2008. The family has not released the official cause of death as of yet, but there's no doubt she will be dearly missed. Shelley had been living in Portland, Oregon at the time of her death. Perhaps best known for her role as Siren on American Gladiators, Shelly was also a successful IFBB woman's bodybuilder; placing as high as 3rd at the 1992 Ms. Olympia contest. One thing i know is that she had a major hearing problem since she was a child.

She was also in an all girl sailing team that vied for the America cup or something like that.
