Title: The Workout "Feeling"
Post by: mahg on February 20, 2008, 03:04:40 AM
This is weird guys. Some days when I enter the gym I can't wait to workout and am enjoying the entire workout trying to push more weight for more reps and self-pumping myself up ("come on 1 more rep"). Other days like today it's just like going through the motions, half heartedly pushing the weight, no motivation to squeeze extra reps, hoping an hour ends asap so I can get out. I don't get it, how do I make it so that I always feel pumped?  ???

If you feel like you're going through the motions than you need to change your workout.  Sets, reps, maybe even your split.

carb up and bcaa's  and take some Powerfull before your workouts.....98% of the time i get enormous pumps........the other 2% is fatigue or lack of motivation

as a natural you sometimes pushes it too far in the gym which is not always beneficial at the long run.
so i dont think these days you take it easy on are worthless, and can make another training day a standout one.

i am sure everyone has these days

i just find someone in the gym or someone i know and play a mental game pretending i am in a competition
against them, that gives me the extra push....i always have to play mind games with myself in these cases....
i think of some weird shit sometimes that may not help anyone else but it pushes me!
