Hey, I just have a few questions for people who have body acne, and regularly lift weights. I have acne in the middle of my chest and my upper back/shoulder area. Most of it is scarring now (red marks/craters) because I am on accutane, but I am in the last 2 months of my prescription and I still have 2-3 nodular/cystic (not sure how to tell) type pimples on my back. I basically wanted to see if anyone has taken a break from lifting weights (bench presses, bar squats, etc..) so the acne doesn't get irritated. I had an aesthetician (sp?) tell me before that pressure to acne can actually cause the bottom of the pimple, or whatever, to break and in-turn cause acne to spread around the skin, which is why I think I have had acne on my back so long. I am kind of addicted to exercising so it was very hard for me to take a break. Anyways, I am taking a break now and I wanted to see if anyone else has taken it upon themselves to do this.
