Have her do cardio first thing in the morn on empty stomach. Tbis will help the process..
You need to post more about her vitals, how much she is eating now, weight loss she wants, height/weight etc

Unless someone is already relatively lean (single digit for men and teens for women), fasted cardio will make little to no difference.
