it's a stacked card and it doesnt just happen to arlovski.

koscheck fought gsp last time on the main card.

diego sanchez lost by split decision last time and was on the main card.

to put chris leben and sakara up there above these guys shows that guys that are gonna bang gets priority over the guys that likely wont. at least on this card for the right mix.

I agree.  He's had a couple of boring fights.  But, he is a recent UFC HVWY champ and has had a good number of ko finishes.  I'd like to see him in there with guys like Congo & Vera.  Those have the potential to be good fights.

The reason he's on the undercard is because the UFC doesn't have much talent.

I agree there are 3-4 guys per weight class that are true talents but after that you run into A LOT of shit. Hell there are fucking guys from a reality show beating up 20+ fight veterans.

The UFC did a GREAT move in buying Pride because they knew that over time people were realizing they were watching the same guys fighting each other. Now they have new blood and can create more story lines.

Arlovski being an undercard is great because if he wins that will be three wins in a row and his name can be thrown into the hat for a fight against........Brock Lesnar? That would be a HUGE draw.

In the end it's a smart move on UFC to keep him in the public eye but NOT the main focus.

he's on the undercard because this is the last fight of his contract

Agreed and from what has been being said he might be looking at going elsewhere. It will be interesting I think if he wins he might stay. He loses then he will be gone to a differant org. I am sure that M-1 Would gladly pick up the ex-heavy weight champ.  ???

leben reasoning the same way i did in my previous post:

“… if you’ve ever watched any of my fights and compare those to [Alessio Sakara’s] fights you can see when the goings get tough, no matter what, win lose or draw I always bring the fight…. I think [the reason I’m on television and Josh Koscheck and Diego Sanchez are not because] it’s that probably that those guys are both great fighters but … pretty much every one of my fights is exciting so its not a crap shoot when you are putting me against Sakara whether or not that fight’s gonna be exciting.” - Chris Leben

True, Leben brings it most of the time...he's either gonna knock you out or get knocked out...and that's what everyone wants to see...
