				Love the sound...

-
not really fitting for a Mercedes but nice sound

The sound will be even more beautiful when the trademark squeaking Mercedes brakes are applied.

 I agree

Well it is a V8, the SL65 sounds even more badass. To me, the current SL must sound badass, because it is such a beautiful car, but badass looking in Black or grey.

 Ditto

Parker, I thought you was a level headed car enthusiast, not one of those cocks that goes up and down town trying to pull bitches with your loud exhaust?

I am, but I enjoy a nice V8 sound...hell, I'm American, and where i live, hot rods with deep bass V8's sounds are common.   I;m not into that Civic 4 banger "nothing but exhaust" clique.

Sometimes the factories leave the exhaust note subdued, as with Mercedes everything should be "button downed", but the Sl is a Hotrod done up in a Armani suit so to speak--gorgeous, yet badass, and people, Eisenmann Meisterschaft included, believe the same.

Actually i reckon that the SL55 (or any model with that engine in it) sounds better than the 65.
Though i believe that engine is now being replaced with the 6.3L v8.

My grandfather bought himself an '06 S600L earlier this year. Crazy powerful, but a really quiet engine. Kinda dissapointing actually :-\
