Not lifting pink dumbells when you were 16 but serious training, I started at 22 im now 35.

around 25 i got a weight set.  Around 27 I started using it.  31 now.

In high school I lifted for gym class and wrestling team but then gave up for about ten years.

5 years... a little less due to forced lay offs...more like 4....30 now....

One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't start at age 14 or so. I mean, I have shitty genetics but youth would have been on my side  and I would have made greater progress.  :-\

14 years. Started when I was 14, bought one year membership and have been lifting weights 3-5 days a week since then.

Starting in the mid-twenties is young enough to get most of the potential with the right training and hard work still young it won't make much difference.

I started at 14 when playing football, went to college and became a fat whale, got back to it and in shape at 20 and am 23 now.

had bouts of up to 8 months of not lifting, but everytime something bad happens (diabetes, bloodpressure, etc) I hit the weights hard and everything falls back in place.

join a wrestling,BB,powerlifting club and you won't have diabetes or high blood prssure anymore. it's awsome
