We're paying more for energy and food everyday, the prices are shooting up fast and no one is addressing the real issues. How much more can/will we get sqeezed? There are more and more signs out there telling us that things are worse than we are being told. I don't live everyday in fear but i'm getting kinda concerned and pretty pissed.

Exactly. We are seeing inflation rise with the help of massive oil profits, which causes increases in all consumer goods. All of this, while bush allows the fuel prices to rise and saying "What recession"?

Everyday there are thousands of economists saying one thing and another. I could find you countless economists saying great things about the economy and countless others saying different. The fact that you scan the internet for any little snippet of someone else's opinion only to further your liberal "look at how bad the economy is" rhetoric is testament to a leftists lack of economic understanding.
We are not in a recession or even close.. one was not even predicted. You call Bush dumb yet you can't understand this simple fact? Typical.

Ben Bernanke himself said some banks are gonna go under, he wasn't even asked to devulge this information, yet he mentioned it. I'm surprised that the Fed doesnt take food and energy into account when talking about inflation. How can you do that? I wonder what the percentage is, when those two components are added in to the equation?

bush has systematically destroyed this country financially and otherwise. our country is heading for a severe recession as a result of his failed policies. in the coming months, the stock market will come crashing down. mark my words.
