yeah, at that point I thought his routine was much better than Melvin's too.
You would think for a show as big as the Arnold, they would at least run through the music and ensure there are no mishaps like that ::)

Kai waisted too much time getting to the meat of his routine. He could've easily won the best posing routine. 3 minutes is three minutes. Is he from Jamaica? ;D

Can someone explain why he placed third? His gut was horrendous and his proportion was worse than last year. Even in a front-double-bicep shot it stuck out like an alien gut.

Good conditioning... his waist was wide, but did not protrude "out".
He had good proportions... some added muscle.
I had him 3rd.

Yeah, it was a pity with kai's routine. At the end of the day though, he would have known before hand of the time allowance and should have constructed his (albeit excellent) routine to it. Like posters have said above, his enterance was too long. Not if the routine time was unrestricted (within reason), but on this outing, with 3 mins he should have just gotten into it faster.
I'm a greene fan, but by this discrepence alone, you've got to hand the poser award to melvin.
[note: on MD nobull radio last monday, he commented that they were only allowing 3 mins for the routines, so it's not as if he didn't know well beforehand]

apparently he had nothing else to do before this comp besides prepare for the actual comp. if he can't be bothered or thinks he's too good to get his posing on time like everyone else, then fuck him.
