honestly we all know that a single presidential term ages them on average 10-12 years. john mcmummy is Already 71 and looks like death warmed over...two years into his term we will be losing 500 troops a day trying to control teheran and meanwhile john's aids will be wiping the drool from his face with his bib

Remember Kennedy v. Nixon? Appearance played a major role in their debate. We could see something similar with Obama v. McCain. The man looks like he should be in a nursing home. I agree it shouldn't be a factor, but it is.

Well, his mom is something like 95 and shows no signs of mental aging...........How old was Reagan when he took office????

I think reagan was 69. He was born in 1911. McCain will be the oldest president ever. I wish his mother was running, she seemed more on top of it than he did. She looks young for her age, John, well Washington has had its toll, he really does look very old and he seems to tire really easy. Nothing againt him, this is just the demon we all face with age and hard work.

He would be the oldest President elected for sure, but this is the way I see it, if he does get elected and because of his age, he would be a one term president at best. Who knows though, his mom really is on top of things at her age, I look at my grandmother who is 99 and has all her wits and can remember things from when I was 10 that I can't, but isn't nearly as well spoken as McCains mother.

McCain's mother is impressive, no doubts and I have known older folks who never lost any of their mental side. John seems to be showing it, he doesn't seem to be the same man IMO. It sucks.

I'm pretty sure he has dementia. they should also make him undergo psychological evaluation. ever since he got back from Nam, he's been pretty unstable.... doesn't really know how to relate to people. No wonder so many Republican legislators hate him.... and his wife was looking for comfort from a bottle.
