Herring controlled the stand up and ground game....all Kongo did was score takedowns but didnt follow up.

PRIDE NEVA DIE!!!!!!!!

if you're so confident in herring how come you bet against him?

Cause Herring has been so inconsistent, so I played it safe by going with Kongo.

If they were going by Pride rules, Herring would have f*cked Kongo up.

Andrei Arvloski?

Based on his last performance, I doubt he'll be fighting in the UFC anytime soon.

a Crazy Horse v Arlovski/Tim Sylvia would be interesting...

i actually thought Herring fought a smart tough fight against a strong m'fer.  He showed like he wants to be there too.... i was impressed.

I picked Herring, but his performance wasn't that good!  He turtled up I don't know how many times giving up his back.  Any good bjj guy would have finished that fight.  Herring supposedly is a black belt, I wonder who GAVE him that!  He had side control and a dominant position for better than 2 minutes in 2 rounds and couldn't finish Kongo.

Hearing seems like a pretty tough kid......

I just think he lacks that extra gear ya need to close out a fight, and his fight with nog laying there on the ground senseless as he let him up just proves it.....

so far now, twice he's got a win in the UFC only to say how disappointed he was in how he fought afterwards......

it's gettin kind of old now !

I think hearing needs to go back to fighting EARLY and off camera on some of the next PPV's so maybe it'll light a fire under his ass again

Herring ALWAYS has given his back. Watch his first fight with Nog...dude is HARD to submit and he has nice reversals as well. Fedor pounded the shit out of Herring and Herring still manage to get a reversal at the end of the first round.

Herring is a 3rd tier HW.....and yet Kongo lost to him. ;D

Herring is a 3rd tier HW.

I don't think the heavies are deep enough to have a 3rd tier...

there's nog and a few others and then there's the rest
