Haney at his best or Levrone at his?
I'm going with Kevin circa 92. Sure, Kevin lost to Dorian and Dorain lost to Lee, so therefore the argument would hold Kevin would have lost to Lee, but just because the judges award a show to someone doesn't mean they have the better physique (see the 2007 Mr. Olympia).
And here's why: I give Haney the back double biceps and a slight edge in the rear lat spread, but Kevin had him in the arms and legs and could match or beat him in the side poses (side chest and side tri).
What do my fellow peanut gallery members think?

???
-
Haney won the Sandow and Levrone didn't.
Haney's wins weren't really disputed.. But it can be argued that Levrone should have atleast beat Dorian more than once.
-
Haney....can't believe you even have to ask.
Levrone was one of those "very good, but not quite great" bodybuilders.
-
Hey I have an idea, lets compare Kevin to Bert Goodrich, the 1939 Mr. America-I am going to give Bert the edge on hardness and muscularity, but Kevin might have him in the delts.
What say you GhGut???
;D

HAHAH is Haney wearing uggs in that picture?

whatever he's wearing, he's still pwning the hell out of levrone.
-
Why the fuck do chicks wear Uggs? I don't find them attractive.
I have a pair of Timberlands for snowy days, but don't really wear them that often. Chicks will wear Uggs in every season. ???

It's like a fur coat for their feet.
Or maybe it helps compensate for their shaved snatch?

Your telling me that short shorts, tank (top with no bra), and uggs does not look good? Whats wrong here?

It's good, but I'd rather see more leg. I love legs and women shouldn't be covering them during the summer time, especially when they're sporting mini skirts.

Haney destroys Levrone in every muscle group. Oh yeah, he also won the "O" 8 times to Levrone's "0" times.................ho pe this helps. ;D

Haney only beats him on back and biceps.

Aren't you wearing ,NassHOLEs used undies?
-
The reason haney was so unbeatable was not just his genetics. He was able to be cut to shreds every time and still carry mass for every show. Just look at the difference in conditioning in haney's "street" photo compared to Levrone's staged with proper lighting shot. Haney absolutley destroys Levrone here, he owns him everywhere, his abdominals are awesome as is his complete symetry with mass. Levrone has a weak chest compared to the rest of him, he is not in balance.
-
I would agree Haney would be Levorne any because Haney has better back and bicep pose then Levrone.
-
haney
-
Haney hands down.
The real question is: Haney or Dorian?
-
Haney..... I cannot believe we are discussing this
-
Haney won the Sandow and Levrone didn't.
eli maning won the superbowl and dan marino never did.
???
big fucking deal
-
Haney hands down.
The real question is: Haney or Dorian?
Since Haney beat Yates the one time they competed against each other, I'd go with Haney.
-
Haney's shoulder to waist ratio is the best of all time.
-
thats a tough one......id have to go with levrone.....thicker fuller ...his most muscluar may be the best ever
-
Great.....Haney: 8times Mr.O!!
Better BBer...Levrone:He was more complete and possesed Legs and arms which Haney didnt have.
-
Mr. Levrone it's not even close
i guess larry scott is better than him too since he won the O ::)
wow some of you are stupid :-\
E
-
I would also have to go along with that as well Haney is better than Yates since Haney has competed against Yates and won the Olympia before Yates won the Olympia the year after.
-
Haney shits on Levrone. Lee has never even used growth.

I think Haney would have beaten Yates ( assuming he was in his 1991 shape ) again in 1992 and Dorian beat Kevin in 1992 so I think Haney 1991 could've beaten Leverone 1992 later Kevin improved and I think he would beat Haney .

Haney knew it was over. Dorian was actually hoping that Haney would compete in Helsinki because he was extremely confident that he would beat Lee. Dorian was bigger and more ripped in 92 than 91.

Haney was all back and chest.

Yates was basically the same in 1992 as in 1991 he was 239 pounds in 91 and 242 pounds in 1992 not much of a difference , he actually wanted Haney to compete in Atlanta in 1993 by 93 he would have soundly beaten Haney even at his best .

This is one of your worst posts. Dorian was much, much better in 92 versus 91. Remember, Dorian already defeated Haney in muscularity in 1991, so in 92 it would have been even more devastating to Lee. Dorian's waist was smaller in 92 versus 91 and his lats were wider.

Haney faced a 1991 version of Yates, not a 1993 version. Then again, maybe a 1993 version of Haney would have been more impressive than Yates was that year.

Oh I disagree he wasn't much , much better in 1992 , in 1993 yes but 1992 he wasn't that much better he was a 3 pounds heavier and just as dry & hard I think the uqlaity of the pictures has a not to do with it
by 1993 Yates would have beaten Haney soundly .
-
Haney shits on Levrone. Lee has never even used growth.
::)

Haney was all back and chest.
Exactly. He Had no arms.
-
Pose by pose Haney was a better bb...
when Levrone flexes his muscles didn't look as good as Haney.

Haney wins in chest and back, that's it. Levrone has better delts, tris, biceps, quads, hams, and calves.
Conditioning is a push.
-
Levrone does not deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Haney, one of the all-time greats.
-
Silly question. It's not even close. ::)

Yes but when you put all that together doesn't work in Levrone's favor......
Rermember Bodybuilding is not about who has better body parts is about who looks "better in mandatory poses'
-

you also said that no chest heath was better than Mr. Levrone so nothing you say can be taken seriously, pal
Mr. Levrone at the Mr. O 92, this is what bodybuilding is all about 8) 8)

Haney retirement's was hardly due to being scared of Yates. The only thing left for him to do in his career was to beat Arnold's record of Olympia wins. Once he did that (at Yates' expense), he took his ball and went home.
He also claimed that preparing for his last Olympia was the easiest of them all.
