FOX news was first calling it a fake.

Then their anchor michelle malkin said the puppy was obviously faked, then it was obviously already dead, then it was obviously sound faked.

How can you take her word on other issues when she destroys her own credibility by defending scum like this?

it's not an attack in the military... it's an attack on this sick scumbag who disgraces the uniform.

It obviously isn't a fake considering they claim the Marine is being kept safe in view of the anger over the alleged incident.

I just don't understand what pleasure was obtained from doing something like that.

They should stomp on that Marine's face with pair of ice skates and metal cleats.

This jackass not only is inhumane etc, but the fallout of his act increases hostility on the US army.

This "soldier" should be dishonorably discharged immediately....and I would bet money he will be.   THEN, believe me, he will get his.

the thing about it is that even if the puppy was already dead he's still a scumbag who should be court martialed and sent to prison for throwing the puppy.

no you can't explain it until you see it, part of it is just the innocence of the little puppy and the size disparity between the shitstain who threw him and the puppy, he throws it off a hill and you see it land about 100 feet away.

Not really. But it yelped when it flew through the air + one doesn't know if it really died immediately or just lay there and deceased slowly.
A former friend of mine would throw little kittens against the wall.
Those were from her cat - instead of sterilizing the cat she prefered to kill the offspring every year by hand - was a sadistic bitch.

Mostly I find it interesting how fast and widespread incidents like these makes it too the media.. While I do care about animals, humans sure are strange beings. They have ZERO cooperation. People have millions of pets which they stuff with food while almost 1 billion humans are starving. I'm not trying to point out right or wrong with this, it's just fascinating...

Yeah.. Cats and dogs have been bred for human companionship and hold a pretty special place when it comes to rights. Can't be fucking torturing them, or killing them for the hell of it. I used to think it was okay, but now I've changed my stance. Better to just have them put down via injection or something.

Marines Disciplined for Tossing Puppy

HONOLULU (June 12) -- The Marine Corps said Wednesday it was expelling one Marine and disciplining another for their roles in a video showing a Marine throwing a puppy off a cliff while on patrol in Iraq.

The 17-second video posted on YouTube drew sharp condemnation from animal rights groups when it came to light in March.

The clip shows two Marines joking before one hurls the puppy into a rocky gully. A yelping sound is heard as it flips through the air.

"That's mean. That's mean, Motari," an off-camera Marine is heard telling the Marine who tossed the black and white dog. The off-camera Marine snickered slightly afterward.

Lance Cpl. David Motari, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment at Kaneohe Bay, is "being processed for separation" from the Marine Corps, the Marine Corps said in a news release. He also received unspecified "non-judicial punishment."

The Marine Corps didn't say what role Motari played in the clip.

The video was viewed tens of thousands of times before YouTube took it down because of a violation of the site's terms of use.

"The actions seen in the Internet video are contrary to the high standards we expect of every Marine and will not be tolerated," Marine Corps Base Hawaii said in a news release. "The vast majority of Marines conduct their duties with honor and compassion that makes American people proud."

The second Marine, Sgt. Crismarvin Banez Encarnacion, also received unspecified "non-judicial" punishment.

Encarnacion is assigned to the Weapons and Field Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego.

First Lt. Binford Strickland, a Marine Corps Base Hawaii spokesman, said the service may not reveal what roles the two men played in the video because that was part of the investigation. He said releasing such information would violate the Privacy Act.

Strickland declined to provide details about the disciplinary measures taken against the men for the same reason.

Like I said...the Marine Corps is not...& will not toleate this type of behavior.  I didn't serve 10 years in the Corps & didn't see this shit coming.

This is very "un becoming" of a Marine
