Title: OUT OF SHAPE "BodyBuilders"
Post by: JediKnight on March 06, 2008, 05:20:57 PM
What happened to these guys. What happened to sticking to an actual diet. Look at those saggy utters. The gut. It's one thing to be "offseason", but when the "offseason" is all season. Something is wrong. Look at these slobs.

Well, there is obviously an extreme amount of muscle on both of these fellows.

But, speaking from experience, we used to engage in extreme "bulking"phases in the offseason in the 1980's. This was the popular thing to do, and then strip off all of the fat to get cut.

However, in most of these cases you'd end up where you started, and all of the "bulk" gain was a useless exercise in sloth.

Both of them obviously lift weights and enjoy being larger men.

Remind me the problem?

Only if you were following that idiot Rory's programs did you do "extreme" bulking........

Most of the better BBer's, at least the ones I trained aorund, were starting to follow Lee Haney and Rich Gaspari's lead of staying in close to contest shape-within 10 pounds or so-year round.

This was as far back as 83-84.

Panda is a fucking tank.  I wouldn't say either one are slobs.  90% of the population is much worse.  At least in the US.

Rich Gaspari used to get way out of shape in the off season , Lee used to tease him saying he had given up bodybuilding and taken up sumo wrestling.
It wasnt till later in Richs career that he found the extreme bulking pointless.

Ok, this is literally the 26th time you've posted my pic in the past couple of weeks.  What's your point exactly? ::)

You seriously need to get a new act.  The one you have is stale, very stale.

Until you post a pic to prove otherwise, you're a 150 lb bottom twink :-*
