It has been around for a bit, but still good to see again.

zane was bigger then most think, and had he not had his accident in 80, he would have come in at 200 lbs and won the Olympia hands down . . . Arnold or no Arnold.

Frank should have won in 76 and barring the accident would have had 6 or 7 Sandows.

The Beef

The Zane Vacuum shot with his hands behind his head and elbows pointing up- that  is the BEST vacuum shot ever taken. Unreal.

Such quality competitors in those days and there posing was incredible. The "sport" has regressed into the middle ages since then.

I agree Mr. I want to get rid of chest fat with a chest exercise not from the rest of my body!  ;D

lol sure. Listen in fair contests, Nubret beats Zane and Oliva, Robinson, Padilla and Fox beat Arnold and Mentzer during that era.

Nubret had:

poor back double biceps
poor front double biceps
poor front lat spread
poor rear lat spead
Non existant calves
Thighs looked good only from certain angles

So, no.

Nubret's upper body was world class for his time, his legs were weak, but to say front snd back d-bis and lat spread is not good is bbullshit-he looked great for the 60/70's, in fact Robbie and Nubret had similar builds.

You can read pumping Iron for yourself and Charles Gaine's description of when Nubret posed, he seemingly 'lost' something from his physique, and the audience at the Brooklyn AScademy of Music sensed this.

He described it as though air were emiiting from his muscles, that his poses failed more and more to impress. FDBi, FLS in particular were not as impressive as those of his competition. Legs were not much from behind.

Nubret was one of the greats...just not THAT great.

So, not 'bullshit'.
