GH is used in the anti-aging therapy.... ???

GH is used in the anti-aging therapy.... ???
Never mind, stupid joke of mine. But on that matter, GH is used in anti-aging therapy for people whose GH levels have already dropped. Supposedly, one side effect of GH could be diabetes. And insulin therapy is also supposed to create premature aging. Strange, no? Hormonal system is a bitch, ain't it?

I think they mean to say that he's not 250% dehydrated, that his tongue is not stinking out because of severe hypoxy and that he's still smiling instead of passing out.

GH does not cause diabetes. I know what you mean, but here is the clarification:
In some people, GH therapy can elevate blood sugar, which is completely reversible on stopping the drug. At replacement dosages (for older people who are deficient), they majority don't get a significant or worrisome elevation in blood sugar and its not enough to satisfy lab thresholds for diabetes. If they are on a low glycemic index diet, watching their carbs and exercising 95% do just fine. This tends to be more of a temporary response too...after a period of 6 months, significant blood sugar elevation is rare.
Diabetes type 1 is an autoimmune condition that your born with. DM type 2 is usually related to obesity, nutritional/exercise habits, insulin resistance and some effect with genetics.

Actually, I think they mean he's soft. Looks 3 weeks out.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm in no way an expert on that matter, I just read scientific reviews and articles when I get a chance. I don't know how clear things are even to scientifics about hormonal treatments actually. It seems to me that we're only at the beginning of understanding the full effects.
