Title: NEVER BACK DOWN
Post by: larger_format on March 17, 2008, 06:54:41 AM
"Never Back Down" the mixed martial arts movie did not live up to expectations by coming in 3rd with a weekend gross of $8M - so much for Hollywood's next money making trend.

Maby because a bunch of pussies starred in that movie that you know wouldn´t be able to fight No body IRL.
They should have put Jason Statham or someone like that in it instead.

I mean WOW scary looking dudes  ??? ???

I would say by coming in 3rd it far exceeded

I thought for sure this thread was going to be some animal pack bullshit that evolved into a tapout war concluding in a very obvious and ironic "back down".

Disappointing.

This was a major Hollywood production, shown in over 2700 theatres. An 8 million opening weekend, by today's standards, is peanuts. If you break it down, it works out to about 1K a day per theatre, or 100 people. People who went to see this weren't fighting for a seat, that's for sure.
