Maby because a bunch of pussies starred in that movie that you know wouldn´t be able to fight No body IRL.
They should have put Jason Statham or someone like that in it instead.

I would say by coming in 3rd it far exceeded

I thought for sure this thread was going to be some animal pack bullshit that evolved into a tapout war concluding in a very obvious and ironic "back down".

This was a major Hollywood production, shown in over 2700 theatres. An 8 million opening weekend, by today's standards, is peanuts. If you break it down, it works out to about 1K a day per theatre, or 100 people. People who went to see this weren't fighting for a seat, that's for sure.
