Title: health problems for Cutler?
Post by: Tom on March 18, 2008, 03:26:51 PM
okay besides the always mentioned "jaw inducing/increasing in size" gh affect. does anyone care to speak of if they know for a fact of any other health problems jay might be experiencing?

from the outside he still looks fairly healthy ( minus the offseason facial bloating of course). but surely he has to be taking meds for various conditions that are not apparent on the outside, yes?

does jay go for frequent and thorough doctor visits to monitor his heart, cholesterol, blood level, the condition of his internal organs, etcetera?

with all of the "stuff" jay has taken seemingly non stop for  well over a decade now, he at least seems to be healthy? perhaps no one including jay will know the effects if any in future when he's in his 40's, 50's and beyond?

Jay Cutler is Mr. Olympia.  So he is probably the most phenomenal athlete on the planet right now.  How could such an elite athlete have health problems?  ???

It's Jay's business.

In a twisted sort of way, it's our business too.

If Jay is continuously using AAS to win BBing contests and/or remain in the public eye due to BBing publications etc...then he's doing that so WE THE FANS keep buying his stuff.

If he stopped use because he would "pull a Tom Prince," then he would shrink up and nobody would be buying his merchandise anymore. So he has to do whatever he's doing, so the fans keep him in the public eye.

It's sick...and if he's not healthy he really should stop to get better.
It's not our business, but kind of sort of is. Like Joe Theisman breaking his leg and ending his career on Monday Night Football years back. It wasn't our business, but it was on TV and we all watched it till we almost puked because his bone was protruding through his leg so many times thanks to instant replay. :D

Correct.

I am not pro or con steroids, but...

EVERY Mr. Olympia is currently alive and (apparently) well.

Jay uses Gh year round upwards of 10 ius a day enormous amounts..it affects everything from the pancreas and blood sugar to thyroid and the pituatary and stress hormones from the adrenals...

I saw him in Toronto believe me he isn't fat, the pictures don't do him justice, your opinion stinks; can't everybody understand that he loves bodybuilding so if he is sick or even dies from it its still worth it for him. The same way you would die for someone you love. The reality of it is that most people hate being just ordinary people, but they don't have the guts to admit it. There are millions of you's, but only one jay and thats my opinion. Now go ahead get mad and call me names.

It's Jay's and Chris Aceto's business...

Stop overblowing and extrapolating. What Jay does compare to what the chemical Kamikaze of the 90's isn't even close.

Captain Equipoise, I recall seeing your "drug regiment" posted but no physique to go with it. Maybe you should check your own health. You don't respond.

Cutler is 100% healthy.  For one, his wife is a nurse and he gets his "blood work" done REGULARLY.  Anyone who says different, is just jealous.
 ;D ::)
My favorite is when someone who juices tells me, they get their blood work done and are "monitored".  By the time you see something wrong, it's usually too late.  Gotta love "rational" drug users.  At least be honest and say, "I know I'm probably fucking myself up in the long run, but I really don't give a shit."  I can respect that at least.

Are you guys saying that the use of chemicals cause major health problems for bodybuilders?  Example:

That said, Jay walks around as if every step requires a great deal of energy.  He does not appear to be healthy at all from my vantage point.  Granted, we do not and will never have the scientific evidence to determine what the net effect of pro bodybuilding chemicals are since such a study would be unethical.  We will see the results, roughly starting now and for the years to come.

On this topic, read the first comment by NPC COCK and the following comments:

I was reading an article on MSNBC yesterday about people in their twenty's...the article was actually about the financial state that people in their twenty's are in. It had all kinds of info..including the life expectancy of people in their twenty's: 54   I always read the RIP Joe Sombody treads on here where somebody in their 40s-50's dies of a heart attack and everybody starts in with the....oh steroids...advil strikes again...and shit like that. Seriously If these guys were doing what they love doing and ended up dying mid-forties or whatever so fucking what. Everybody dies, but very few people ever live! If you die doing something you love then more fucking power to you....better than dying in a nursing home after living a life as a fat ass nobody that spends their entire life stressing over their mortgage and hating their fat ass wife (75% of America) Think of you life as a book....your writing the story with everything you do and everything you say. When your book is complete...would anybody want to read it...is your life interesting or exciting...or do you just fall in line and eventually die? My two cents...

Another reply:

What an incredibly shallow and idiotic post. Nobody EVER wants to die when they're 45 years old, even if it means watching their wife grow old or living in a nursing home. ::)

Bodybuilders are NOTHING in the grand scheme of things. You are not a superior or enlightened person because you compete in bodybuilding contests. The notion that bodybuilders are more "interesting or exciting" than people who raise families and make a living in the real world is simply laughable. To most people, you are just a self-absorbed bum who hangs around the gym all day and takes steroids.

Another reply:

learn what?  Not to live life doing what you love? Some people live their whole lives wishing they had done this or that.  He died doing what he wanted to be doing.  More of a victory than a tragedy.  It's sad to see anyone go that early but. the tragedy are those who go through life wishing they had.  The tragedy are all those fat ass mcdonalds eating nightly beer drinking clowns that die from a heart attack in their 40's leaving 3 kids and a wife wondering wtf they're going to do now.

My reply:

I forgot that being a competitive bodybuilder and making $0 winning contests somehow precludes you to stressing over your mortgage or family life.  ???

Speculation. Thats what all you are doing. Jay is smart, hes even said once he retires he will settle at around 220 or so, which Jay could achieve whilst being "off". You gotta remember that he walks around at 300lbs at under 10%bf as he is Mr Olympia and a professional bb'er. Once he retires, why the fuck would he stay like that? theres no need to. He will lose size, his bf will go up, but he will always carry some decent mass. Honsetly i don't know if he will health problems in the future or not (i hope not, and either should any of you). Hopefully he lives a long and happy life, you guys sound like you want him to have health problems ::)

Lots of people use recreational drugs and alcohol for years and are fine.  I don't see how the same won't happen with Cutler.  I suppose in some ways he is a guinea pig, but he may still have a long life.

Bingo.

Some people smoke a pack a day and live till their 90, others get lung cancer at 45. You can't generalise everyone, as everyone responds differently to the things they do.
