Heys guys...and girls. Quick question, is basmati rice ok to eat instead of brown rice even though its pretty high on th GI?

Thats the type of white rice i eat. Actually the GI ratings for Basmati and brown rice are quite similar. Both are much less that regular white rice anyway. Apparently there is Brown Basmati available in some places, which has an even lower GI. So to answer your question, yes it is fine to eat Basmati rice.

Basmati rice is the best tasting rice. In my opinion

I never eat brown rice personally and dont have a problem getting in shape eating white rice only.
