Title: Anyone seen "Thirty Days of Night"?
Post by: PANDAEMONIUM on March 19, 2008, 11:21:15 PM
Saw it the other night.  Gotta say, one of the scariest movies I've seen in a while.  Anyone else seen it?

great movie,  but vampiers ar not suppose to hav expensive designer-looking clothin or jump and fly like we see in most recent movies

haven't seen it, keep meaning to pick it up. don't forget, too, that vampires were historically made to be contemporary villains. the idea of having olden-day romanian vampires in modern america is actually against the initial model.

also, saw 4 sucked.

Didn't like 30 days much. One of the best classic horror movies is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

i thought 30 days was terrible - it seemed unfinished, or at least had large parts cut out of it. maybe they will release an uncut version. the villian looked like a geek, and wouldn't scare me with his rotting teeth. i liked the story though - it had potential.

blade 2 was a great vamp flick 8)

i really liked the remake of texas chainsaw.

Really don't get into Horror movies.

For me they are more annoying than scary, with the constant tension buildups

No my little friend.

I'm saying they are so formulaic that the whiny soundtracks  and "surprises" got boring a loooong time ago.

PS:    CG has ruined moviemaking.  i just watched "I am Legend"  which is a remake of "The Omega Man". In the original the Infected were these creepy albinos that actually had lines in the film. In the newer version they are the typical CG, superhuman fake looking crap that you see in every fucking movie

man it was decent but the ending sucked...Dawn of the dead is a good one (the recent one that is)
