Now that Dexter Jackson is with Weider does this mean he has a legit shot at the Olympia?
-

I think this conspriacy of sponsers crap is a bunch of crap. If Dex wins it will be his physique that does it

Turns out that many experienced competitors, promoters, and insiders disagree with you completely.
Now who should I believe... ;)

You are correct , sir!!

With that logic that's why Dexter won the Arnold - MD was the Title Sponsor. ::)

No, it's not about drugs. it's about ROI and the LT value of a dynasty figure in maintaining a reliable image of THE man who best represents the sport.

Dexter with Weider: Can he win Olympia now?
He is too small and his lats are too high for him to be Mr.Olympia.

Recall: "Joe WEIDER'S MR.Olympia, sponsered by MUSCLETECH. :-X

You are correct , sir!!
So you honestly believe Jay won it on his physique last year?
I have always thought every Mr.O was fairly judged until last year which was a joke. Look at the boards, no-one believes he should have won. No-one at all.

Welcome back to Getbig Jay. We all knew you would be back.

Dexter will never win the Olympia.
-
Way too small for the title.

So you think Jay's physique won him the show last year ?
-
Markus Ruhl thought Dexter should have won last year
that's a pretty big endorsement

Hahaha. You should start a buisness board...

Dexter has the deep sepration lines to have him double in size on stage. If you look at weight youd think he's small......but with his separation and grainy hardness, he beats the mass monsters at their own game.
This is common in amateur shows. Ive had my ass kicked by middleweights because they had deeper lines and shadows. Nice to see it in the pros....hopefully weightclasses will bring reality back to the sport and help marketability

I agree, I got beat in an overall by Middle wt from FL in 1994 that was about 168 and 5'6" . His cuts were so damn deep ,on his small frame, I simply shook his hand after the winner was announced.
If you look at some of the pics of Dex at the Arnold it clealry shows a depth on muscle separation few have ever exhibited on a pro stage.Their is one pic of him holding the arnold overall trophy and the separation of his arm and delt from the side are mind boggling .
The last O was really close and any of the top 5 guys could make a case for winning the show.
Bodybuildin is a judged sport and a variety of subjective factors come into play when picking the winner at close contest. I know judging is not 100% objective and perfect, but complicated , secret conspiracy plans to determine the winner don't happen. The top guys like Jay have an ideal kind of pro physique or they would never get to be a top pro in the first place. When it is close all kinds of theories open up about why some guy won or didn't win.
No matter who wins, people will alsways say somebody else should have when it is close.

This year, another great battle will be at the Olympia.
You have Dennis Wolf, who just might take the title from Jay Cutler.
You have Jay Cutler, who is going for his 3rd Olympia title...
You have Phil Heath, who place 2nd at the Arnold.
You have Victor Martinez, who will likely sit out the O for the Arnold.
And then Dexter Jackson... who has placed in the top consistently.
Well... the tide is for Jay, but if Jay is off, Dexter has a shot.
Anything can happen.

Jay will win again hands down, way too much thickness, width and sheer size for everyone else plus he realizes he was off last year and will come in ready.

Hope so. But he looks like something like Ronnie is happening to him. So to speak, his body looks tired and deformed and gets blocky little by little.
Once you get blocky, you are ended. Because getting blocky is not the matter of condition.

I think Jay will be tough, and the favorite going in, but Dex and Wolf are not going to lie down and let him have it
